Awesome job all the way around on this PJ wall. From the way you framed them to hung them, an impressive piece of work. Inspiring!

Thanks man. I'd love to take credit but the lady who framed these baby's is amazing!

Took about 15 years but I finally framed it. Memorable concert PJ opened with brain of j and ended with Yellow Ledbetter, because of the massive sign in the back.

I got a poster from my Secret Santa. Have to find a frame for it now though. I think it's like 26x14 or some weird size like that.

I have a picture from photobucket I am trying to get to show on here but it keeps saying "it was not possible to determine the dimensions of this image"
How can I get it to show on here?

You'll have to resize the picture...
It has to be smaller than 640 W X 480 H to post to the Forum!!
I use the 400 X 400 setting in the resize tool.
Try this and it should post just fine!!

After collecting posters from select shows I had attended, I finally got around to matting and framing.

Nothing fancy... got all the frames on sale at Michaels, and the mats as well... total cost for frame and mat was about $45 per poster...

Agreed, these look fantastic! Did you do the matting yourself? I find that unless a poster is a standard size like 18" x 24" (which I find that most PJ posters are not), even framing at Michaels is expensive. What's your secret??

That Stockholm poster looks much better on its own rather than the show edition with the two images together.

    Nice jobs on the framing

I was surprised to learn that matting was more expensive to purchase the custom mats at Michaels than to have them cut the mats... it may be cheaper to order mats online, but the frames are all standard sizes... the mats are different sizes to make up the difference between the posters and frames.... no secret: just wait for a sale and use Michaels coupons...

feel free to PM me and I can share a copy of the spreadsheet I used to calculate the proper size frame for each poster...

Looking for a good site to buy mats, frames etc. I received a mat cutter for christmas and I am ready to tackle some framing of posters soup to nuts. Any guidance is appreciated. I had one done at michaels with coupons and it looks great but it was $200. I am ready to learn to do it on my own and make it a hobby. Let me know what the consensus is on the best site for frames, mats and supplies for price and also accuracy in colors.

If this has already been discussed, please point me in the right direction. I did some searching but I didn't find anything conclusive.

    Thanks!

Look great. :) How are your items placed in the frame? I want to do something similer, but I dont want to damage the items with tape or glue. How do you secure them in the frame?
