I agree.....what kind of people do you think run the behind the scenes deals and doings of the most famous arena in the world (in NYC at that)....I assure you it is not Phil Leotardo.....but probably not far off.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.
In addition to inflation people forget that the arenas cost much more to rent. Bands could really be charging more and making less and I think PJ really stick their necks out getting us a large number of ten club seats. I think the band has to fight to get us the best seats in the house.
i dont think they have to fight too much...reason for this is that when bands come and play these arena's they bring in people which in turn spend money inside the venue which makes the place money..not to mention they probably get a cut of everything else..so i really dont think persuading these venues is that hard considering they do make money off every band or event that plays there...if not then they wouldnt have as many concerts or events as they do at these places
