It's funny...they're almost exactly TWICE that much now...just 5 years later. Then again, gas prices have more than doubled....I guess it makes sense.
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm....
5 years ago I was making about half what I am making today.

from where does this # come from?

WTF... wish i would have known that.... i mean the four days notice was great and all but...................
Inflation's been running 3 percent to 4 percent a year. That doesn't double money in five years. It takes about 20 to 25 years for that to happen.
I miss Mike Schmidt, too.
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm....
msg will be pushing 2 hunnys.
exactly what I was thinking!!
give me a break people
I was estimating $200 so $148 seems pretty good. I know I paid $112 for Chicago in 06.
Still compared to other shows seems like a fair price. I know I didn't see Rush on their last tour because their tickets were a lot more than what I am used to since I just see PJ now.

Have you thanked a taper today?
... and ... it'll still sell out in 5 minutes.
Seeing these tix available for so long, I'm tempted. Really tempted.

how about you transport a band, a crew, and the equipment across the country and get back to me on what is a fair price
i know, nobody is really talking about how awesome these shows are gonna be. ii wish KOL were opening MSG and DC...they are gonna be great. enjoy!
whatever formula you are using is not accurate. my home has doubled in price in 8 years. had i sold it 2 years ago, it would have been more than doubled. you cannot base price increases on inflation alone.
their tickets are still much less than most other bands.
*however* I am still trying to figure out how the Foo Fighters pulled off $59 per ticket at Madison Square Garden just last month.....
I was for sure it would at least be a hundy.... i just wasnt planning a buck 50 though..... had i KNOWN it was going to be that much... i would have gotten a lil more money together.. or could have done different shows to be more cost effective...
Im sorry pearl jam shows are great but this is bullshit..
Four days notice and then no ticket prices... Kind of takes the fun out of it
Not all of us have mastcards that we can max out!!!! Im not bitching about the price, but they could have least told us ahead of time..
$75 for PJ is pushing the justifiable bar a bit, even for a 16 year fan. I'd like to see how these numbers boil down...'well we hate the south, so how can we spend less time there? i got it, add $25 per ticket and we'll do less than 2/3 of what we could'
Apparently, FUSE was the sponsor and paid a hefty amount of the bill.
