European festivals start dropping headliners very soon.

Not expecting anything at this point, but that would be the best sign as to whether Europe may get lucky
They’ve already started… BST, Rock Werchter, Nos Alive etc have already announced various headliners

Just my opinion but I'd say the major European festivals are much less relevant to a possible EV tour (with or without the Earthlings) than they'd be to a PJ summer tour.

I would really like to see 2026 have Ohana x2, Gorge x2, Denver x2 along with a few dates in Calgary, Boise, SLC, Phoenix, or ABQ to jump start 2027. Nothing crazy just 6-10 dates to get warmed up for 2-3 legs in 2027
    2003: Uniondale, MSG x2 | 2004: Reading | 2005: Gorge, Vancouver, Philly | 2006: East Rutherford x2, Gorge x2, Camden 1, Hartford | 2008: MSG x2, VA Beach | 2009: Philly x3 | 2010: MSG x2, Bristow | 2011: Alpine Valley x2 | 2012: MIA Philly | 2013: Wrigley, Charlottesville, Brooklyn 2 | 2014: Milan, Amsterdam 1 | 2016: MSG x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley 2 | 2018: Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Wrigley 2 | 2021: Sea Hear Now | 2022: San Diego, LA x2, MSG, Camden, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver | 2023: St. Paul 1, Chicago x2, Fort Worth x2, Austin 2 | 2024: Las Vegas 1, Seattle x2, Indy, MSG x2, Philly x2, Baltimore, Ohana 2 2025: Florida x2, Atlanta x2, Pittsburgh x2

    Maybe their new drummer will
light a fire under their touring butts.

If we’re talking 6-10 shows per leg then I don’t see 2-3 legs being a big deal for the band.   It’s not like they’re coming off a big year of touring in 2025.  They only played 10 shows this year and had the last seven months of the year off.

One has to think the Earthlings run getting scrapped will only increase the chances of PJ on the road sooner than later. Right?

6-10 shows does not make a leg maybe a toe 😂 Jeff would have to be very excited with new drummer to get behind a 20 show run of two legs 🤷‍♂️

Agree from a US perspective the NE has been short changed compared to California etc. I personally want to see them back in U.K./Europe after the non-tour of 2024, but as gothebottle points out we all want to see them back asap and near to where we live!

They’ll play where they are sent, but I suppose the places most overdue shows are Southern and Central America (definitely should be #1 as 2018 is a long time ago) and Europe (the cancelled countries/cities in 2022/24 and places that didn’t get Dark Matter eg Italy, Poland etc).

I wonder if in the future the band will accept a pay day to play somewhere like Abu Dhabi or Singapore (often on the Grand Prix weekend). Lots of similar US bands have recently played there eg Foo Fighters, GNR etc.
  • I hope they continue to play places that were neglected for a while. Michigan and Ohio are the most overdue. Would love a New England - Buffalo - Toronto - Detroit - Cleveland - DC loop

100% agreed, but im working on the hope of PJ coming over to properly tour DM (I know the tour is officially over ) having little to no interest in the Earthlings

I don't see it happening myself.  This is similar to the band playing the Superbowl halftime or headlining Glastonbury.  They had the stature for that kind of thing in the 1990's, but probably not now...  The Foos and GnR are still stadium bands worldwide, they just sell more tickets than PJ do now.
