It's ok. You never know what is happening in other people's lives and how they're feeling. Maybe they are not social. Maybe I rubbed them the wrong way. Maybe they had a shitty day. I don't assume anything.Chrrie said:

I am also glad I got to meet you. I saw you having so much fun. Thanks for sticking up for us and not piling on like the others. You are right that you never know what’s going on in someone’s life and if one person on the rail is having a bad day it doesn’t mean the other 40 people on the rail are horrible people. You are very kind and I hope to share GA with you again.Shaindli1 said:

I know. There is a lot of generalizations and accusations here. There are only about 25 regular campers each show so we are pretty outnumbered.Chrrie said:

Can confirm. Know of at least 2 that got into GA with section 200 level tickets..Green Disease Redux said:Anyone else notice how many more people were in the ga pit on night 2? It was rammed. It’s not even that many, half the Pitt2 line after n1 was newcomers.GlowGirl said:

For N1 they didn’t give us the bracelets right away. For N2 they scanned us and gave us the bracelets right after. For people who came after, I am not sure what they did. But that is what they did for the GA line that was there at doors.gndcd402 said:

Right. And one was on the rail on Stone’s side. She got a tambourine. She was very excited.Chrrie said:

Same situation last year at Fenway. Night 2 GA way fuller. I suspect folks figured out during night 1 a way to sneak others into GA (your guess is I believe the way) and implemented that on night 2.Green Disease Redux said:Anyone else notice how many more people were in the ga pit on night 2? I definitely don’t think and have never said you or the others that have posted here are troublemakers. You guys seem like very nice people. I think the only issue people have here with you guys from the GA line that post here is that you seem to be ignoring the bad behavior of some of the others or telling us there’s no problem “because you’ve never seen it”. But there are problems and troublemakers… apparently there were at least two of them in Pittsburgh.Chrrie said:

If you don’t care about rail then why care about line cutting. Like I said, wasted energy. Every group has bad apples. Don’t turn sour because of it. It’s literally not worth the energy. This is a band we’re talking about that plays music for entertainment…. It’s absurd to even think about any of this for more than a few seconds.KJ228171 said:

Again I don’t camp out. I’ve never gotten rail. Would it be a cool experience? Of course. Are certain people level of entitlement out of control, yeah. But in no way will I ever let it change how I enjoy a concert. I truly just don’t give a shit who’s up there. I think it’s hilarious how much certain people care in such a negative way. It's worth discussing because there have been altercations, multiple show pauses for medical events, and the general risk that comes.with sleeping on city streets multiple nights. I realize that some people have an interest in compulsively keeping these situations going, but if one of these things eventually escalates it probably means big changes for all of us. We bring it up because the participants seem increasingly incapable of self-policing.tylermoore said:

Because I care about fairness. Not just here but in all walks of life. I try not to accept bad behavior because it normalizes it. Call me a fool but I want a better world not to devolve to our base instincts. I also don’t want bad behavior rewarded. How many people here couldn’t get a shirt or a plate because some people let an a friend or a dozen cut in line? Again no problem with people that line up for rail. I can’t say I’ve meet a ln unfriendly one. People that abuse the system (and it seems there are only a few) I have issues with. The guy up there with a broker license flipping seats for a profit is a real problem.tylermoore said:

It’s not. It’s getting in line early. In many cases two days early. About 20-25 regular people including myself are willing to do this. There are no lists and no cutting the line that I have seen in terms of the people up front. We follow pretty strict rules about maintaining our spots. I have seen people being sent to the back of the line for going back to their hotel overnight, etc. Some people may think we are crazy for doing this but we are not entitled, we are not cheating the system, we are not rail mafia. We are just people willing to put more time and effort and planning into getting the rail than others. There is really not much more to it. And yes, sometimes issues crop up even amongst ourselves but there is no evil plot to keep others from the rail.trees said:

It has to be a number thingI think part of the issue is that @Chrrie and I are the few people from the regular campers that are active on the forum. So many of you forum regulars don’t know the others. But most of you know who I am and I hope my explanation helps a little.0
