re: Canada Post strike

We've been told that USPSMI will no longer accept shipments to Canada due to ongoing postal strike.

We will now hold all shipments until we get word from UPSMI.

sorry for the inconvenience,

I have a box sitting in California since the 23rd; I’m guessing some are stuck in limbo till after the strike?

Thanks for the update @Santos L. Halper ... and dealing with it. Better with you than sitting in a truck or warehouse somewhere.

@Santos L. Halper  So if it cleared customs on the 29th then we are in limbo? Thanks in advance

Not your fault at all @Santos L. Halper but man is it hard to see how much good stuff you guys sent out while we live in the stone ages in the Great White North!

You and your crew have done an amazing job with so many orders and keeping us all informed along the way.

    Many thanks! 🤙

Good update! Hopefully the Canada Post and their employees come to a fair and equitable agreement asap!

That’s what mine is and it’s stuck in USPS since they are holding Canada packages. Depending when it was shipped you may have a different carrier handling it.

When you go to the UPS tracking and then view all shipping details then shipment details, do you see an alternate tracking number? If it starts with LX then that’s a USPS number you can use to track

Also if you create a Canada Post account, they will send you emails that a package is on its way to you.

Canada Post strike hits three-week mark as union says it’s ready to restart mediation

As the Canada Post strike hits the three-week mark, the union representing more than 55,000 postal workers says it has sent new counter-proposals to the government-appointed mediator.

Looks like they are going back to work!!! Unfortunately they are being forced to work while everyone figures it out behind the scene.  Hopefully packages start moving soon for us

They haven’t even been picketing at my local post office the last week or two.

Hopefully operations can resume and bargaining can happen to come to a suitable agreement.

Mine arrived this past week. If yours has already shipped they’re being delivered by a 3rd party carrier thereby bypassing Canada Post.

I wonder if the alternate carriers are just for the more recently shipped mystery bags to Canada. I’ve had two shipped early on which cleared customs and have gone no further since ~November 19th, whereas I’ve heard other Canadians with more recent shipments arriving for some of the sizes which shipped later.

Yeah believe that to be the case.

I am in the same boat, Medium shipped first I believe, so mine have also been sitting in Bell Gardens California since Nov 19 stating 'Clearance Completed'. They must be sitting in a bin with a million other items. I wonder how long it will take to get those packages moving in the right direction...Not likely before Christmas but who knows, maybe we'll get lucky.
