Crowd was meh. The first 6 songs I thought we were getting story time to tell the next generation. Besides the first 6….Setting Sun, Upper Hand, and Baba were my highlights.

It sounded like part of the ad lib was “this is the first song we ever played here” nice memory and it was good to hear it open up this one as well. Awesome show awesome start. Super biased opinion but it was great. Kinda can’t believe it even happed

Pit was small, packed and over flowed into the C/B aisles.  It was full before Glen took the stage.
  • Great show. Pit was way too tight though.

    More later.
Yeah, I was in Sect A, Row N and people were standing in the walkway going down to the pit. Not sure if they had pit tickets or if security just said "F it" and let them stand there. Made it a PITA to get in/out of the row for a restroom break. I got there when Glen was about two songs in, and the pit already looked like a can of sardines. People did not look comfortable. But agree...awesome show and lots of audience interaction. So glad I was able to attend. Now it's off to Wrigley Thursday night!

That was a mediocre at best show. Short and pretty weak setlist very greatest hits. Very disappointing after all the build up and last year’s cancellation.

Really enjoyed the GH set, but he seemed to be having technical issues with multiple guitars and appeared to cut the set early (I think he only played 30 min). Anybody in the pit or up toward the front able to tell what was happening?

Stoked to see him again in CHI this weekend!

I had similar thoughts.  I did like the versions of Black and Porch.  A little disappointed in lack of mid career PJ.  I'm still not sure who requests lightning bolt at their 57th show.  I like the song but I have heard it too much and probably would have preferred something from Binaural or Riot Act.  Overall it was a good show but probably towards the bottom of the shows I have seen.  Out of the new songs Upper Hand and Setting Sun were really good live.

My first time in the pit; what an experience! I guess we looked pretty packed in but it didn’t feel too tight.  Loved getting that much Vitalogy in the beginning but it had me thinking we were about to get more and I was freaking out a bit, it’s my absolute favorite album of all time. The setlist swerved back into typical territory for this tour but that was fine with me. If I can sing along to it I’m happy. Can’t wait for MSG next week.

I would have guessed Mike's side was crazy...we were about 20 feet right of you and it was tight. People were well behaved but still too many people in there.

One guy got taken out in a wheelchair right after GH's set and I saw another couple leave about 10 songs in where it looked like the guy was just overheated. We were hanging on the barrier at the back of the pit and had a decent breeze. It was actually much more pleasant than I expected from a temperature standpoint.

Overall...band sounded great. Ed seemed to be really happy. I kept waiting for a slowdown in the first set that didn't really happen other than Upper Hand/Black.

Really wanted to hear Setting Sun so I was real happy with that...sounded great and the visuals were perfect.

One complaint...this was my 30th show and I've seen Present Tense 11 times. The first ten times they would use strobe lights when they hit the massive jam right before the slowdown. I always thought that was the perfect accent on that part of the song. They don't do that now...was a bit anticlimactic but maybe I'm the only one complaining about that. :)

What they played, they played well.  I also had my hopes up for a “special” show after last year’s day of cancellation - my impossible expectations I guess.  I really enjoyed Ed and Glen’s duet to start the encore.  Also, I was happy to get 7 Dark Matter songs (my first show of this tour).  I really dig rarity type tracks and didn’t feel like any of the non-Dark Matter tracks met that expectation.  Also seemed like they rushed through Setting Sun, Alive, Baba, and Yellow Ledbetter to quickly close out…the crowd begged for another song, but alas they were done.  Granted those are all set closers, but seemed like time and space could have afforded one more…suggesting Indifference may have worked as an additional song for a final sendoff and end on a chill vibe.  Loved hanging with the PJ community all day…met some really cool people and saw many old friends from past shows.  Until we meet again…see you in Chicago later this week!  Hopeful for the deeper Dark Matter tracks there (Won’t Tell, Something Special, Waiting for Stevie, and Got to Give).  🤞🏻
