    Most people have never heard of it unless you have to go through it. That is why it's easier for people who do go through it to just say IVF since it's very similar and to avoid having to explain the differences.

    It's an extremely difficult and costly process and it takes a toll on a marriage....so most people do not want to take the time to go into details about that experience.

    I’m sure the attack of ‘moving the goal posts’ will be levied, but IUI/IVF, they are both needing medical science to intervene in conception and advocating for the most commonly known one makes sense. 

    Again, if that’s all they have to dig in on, fine. It’s a nothing burger. At the end of the day one party wants it to end and the other has its back. Pretty clear cut on who to support.
