Why are we now worried about what kind of underwear people are wearing?? How are we classifying those who go commando? Are they communists, or anarchists?

As someone who’s originally from the Midwest, again, one of the reasons that I’ve long called myself a small-c conservative or civil libertarian is because Tim Walz’s “Mind your own damn business.” is burned pretty deeply into who I am. Don’t believe in “gay marriage?” Don’t marry someone of your own gender! Problem solved! Don’t want to be trans? Nobody is forcing you to do so? Feel like dressing in drag for Halloween or whatever? Go for it. You do you, boo.

This really isn’t hard; I don’t get why people make such a big deal out of things that don’t affect them at all.

(Oh: today it’s a black thong from Lululemon. Satisfied?)
Kirkland boxers (seriously great fit!) today. But tomorrow could be blue women's underwear. So many choices!
I bought some Kirkland boxer briefs and replaced my entire underwear inventory. Best decision I've made in a long time.

Right???? They are a better deal than the Costco rotisserie chicken!
I'm a Costco fanboy. Those damn chickens are delicious. The wings they make are really good too.

I'm stuck on the meatloaf and mashed potato combo they put out as well. They make the best mashed potatoes I've ever had I think.

They make some delicious mashed potatoes, no doubt. Or....maybe I just like them because Morning Joe told me to like them.  ;)

No, no, no, the surprises are Tellytubby Twink, Barney, Dr. Seuss and the BLM and Antiiiiiiiiiifa leadership. Plus AOC, Liz Warren and Ilhan Omar. Special appearance, coming down from the rafters on a zip line, by George Zoros and the Space Lazers.

It is normal for past president's and nominee's to speak at their party's conventions though...well except for maga when Hulk Hogan and the UFC guy take center stage.

Still--I hope there are some prime time slots for future leaders like Shaprio, Whitmore, Moore, etc etc etc.

Edit--would love to see someone like Jason Kander speak as well. This guy could be a future president at some point in the next 10-20 years.

Firing up the women and the old guard that remember Bill’s impact on “Its the economy, stupid,” and putting people first, after the draconian Ronny Raygun and out of touch Bush years. Hillary is admired among a large portion of the women of the base and for good reasons. The conventions are about firing up the base and gaining momentum. The arc of Clinton, Obama, Brandon and now Harris is a pretty damn good arc to illustrate between job creation, budget-deficit reduction, healthcare, current economic conditions and a more hopeful future versus doom and gloom, stripping of rights and only caring about the wealthy class. A very stark difference.

People I'd like to see speak: Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Mitt Romney, Chris Christie, Geoff Duncan.

And, frankly, I expect that at least some of the above *will* be speaking.

    I know nothing. Really.

All I know is that Nicolle Wallace asked the Republican mayor of Mesa, AZ, who endorsed Harris, if he was going to be a speaker at the convention, and he said "All I can say is, wait and see who's speaking."

Providing room in the tent/ at the convention for former Republicans and pro-democracy non-Democrats makes sense! Cheney and Kinzinger are putting in the work, Kinzinger in particular is mobilizing people -- I think it would be smart to have him speak. I think there are a number of LDS women who are planning to vote for Harris; having Mitt Romney speak would give them leverage to persuade their fence-sitting friends.

My guess is that there will be a lot of anti-tRump endorsements close to election day.
