I think the days of Pearl Jam playing small cities is over. Maybe a one off or two but not multiple dates. They play ballparks now. It is what it is. It is unlikely they will tour northern new england or nova scotia. As beautiful as it is.

This is unfortunately true.  The numbers don’t lie.  Just look at how many “big” cities you could list here that haven’t had a show in well over 10 years if not over 20

If they ever play my hometown of Cleveland again, and that’s a big IF, I will do everything I can to be there as I fully expect it would be the last time

I would love to see Alaska get a show, but I think it would need to be something that draws fans in to travel there.
Out of curiosity, if Pearl Jam did a mini festival / Pearl Jam Week / PJ20 style 3 day concert in Alaska, would any of you be interested to travel there?

Also not true that they play ballparks now. Only in Chicago and Boston it seems to be that they are gonna be playing ballparks and that’s mainly because Eddie just loves Wrigley and Fenway. Even Seattle they went back to arenas. They probably should be playing stadiums in a lot of cities (Philly, nyc, Seattle, LA) but places like OKC that they played 2 years ago didn’t completely sell out.  Even Fenway last week you could get tickets day of.

Anyone else noticed Metallica got my message this morning and announced a no repeat weekend at Rogers in April?  See... told you spring in Toronto is a great idea...

Pearl Jam can do a no repeat weekend in Toronto too!  Maybe I'll make 2 trips...
Comedy. My friend and I went to see Metallica last night in CDMX. The stage set-up is off the hook amazing, but I went on the wrong setlist night and they didn't play Fade to Black, One, Battery, and Enter Sandman. The top 4 songs I wanted to hear!

Ed actually mentioned the importance of playing less populated areas this year.

They will likely sprinkle in a few smaller cities within their touring formula of their 3 favorite stadiums, Euro festivals and perhaps a US arena or two, in the years after their upcoming monster screen residency, if they decide to tour again

Its unfortunate cities as large as Cleveland haven't seen shows in so long. Interesting if its created a geographic bias in their support.

Holy shit. I really have nothing to do with Iron Maiden at all. But looking at their 2025 European tour and the 28 concerts - twenty-eight - can only make you envious. Especially when you look at Pearl Jam this year. From Budapest to Dublin. From Helsinki to Lisbon. Royal Arena, OVO Hydro, 3Arena, Paris La Défense Arena. And the old men have been on stage for 50 years. If Pearl Jam only played a third of these cities, I'd be happy. You can see how low expectations have become compared to other bands.
Isn’t it like a deep cuts tour too? Saw something like “we will probably never play a lot of these songs again”
that’s a hell of a way to sell a tour.

I don’t think us going there would even be the biggest issue. It’d be getting 3 days worth of bands to show up. Would be fun, but very very unlikely.

All PJ multi-night stands should be no repeat.
Metallica play 10 less songs a night than PJ
their songs are like 45 minutes each. lol
I like to joke that you know it is a Metallica song if there is at least 2 minutes of music before the first word is sung.

Hero of the Day is a rare exception.

For Whom The Bell Tolls and, TBH, just about every song on their first four are definitely the exception.

One, of course, has the two minutes at the end.

And the monstrosities known as Orion, To Live Is To Die and Inamorata, the last of which is basically a new Tool song haha I joke.

What? 11+ mins long and heavy DOESN'T describe Fear Inoculum?
