Sorry for the radio silence, but was reaching out to a few peeps to see if they heard anything similar.

Spoke to someone at Ohana who works very closely with Ed, Jeff & Stone in particular:

DM has legs. CBS Sunday Morning drove up PJ site traffic & overall band interest. All the singles have gotten decent airplay, but there's a lot of buzz around WFS. If it does well, we might see more dates. BUT, in the mean time...

a short run in the first half of the year, and a equally short "stint in one place" later in the year.

He didn't confirm SA, but he DID confirm North America. He also didn't elaborate if the residence was Sphere, or Seattle. But he did say "just a handful".

Lastly, the band has an open invite to play Ohana again (every year), but it's up in the air. Everyone was very visibly having a great time (Dancing Stone!)

If not, it'll certainly be Ed (The Last Of Us S2 trailer w/Future Days also put band/Ed interest through the roof over the weekend🤘).

I hope there's more, but I trust at least this much from the source (because when I was walking away, I saw the name he was texting with on his phone. It said "Ed.")
I think the band should use Ohana as their sorta annual PJ20 type festival. Its the perfect festival location and weather, bring in another headliner for Saturday and PJ does Fri/Sun. Easy way to get guests on stage and they can keep whipping out rare tunes like they just did to make even the hardcore fans happy.

That's a great idea...and if the band doesn't want to do both nights, they can do Sunday with EV (Earthings?) on Friday.

So, if they're finally  getting to North Carolina were looking at a Festival?

Good to hear that it is likely they will do more dates in the US. Where and when is anybody's guess. I would also guess Pearl Jam management is likely having discussions with all major US rock festivals. I could see them doing a Charlotte festival and donating a portion of the proceeds to hurricane victims. ACL lines up with Ohana.

Again my view is any Pearl Jam shows are good!….but I do hope it’s not a bunch of festivals.  A couple of them are okay, but hopefully not like 5 festivals and that’s it.
    Agree
Shorter the leg, more festivals we’ll get. Economics of 2024-25. We’d all love a proper tour of the southeast, but if the choice is no shows or 5 festivals, sign me up for 2hr greatest hit renditions. If they comeback to Tx or the gulf coast, I’ll sign up to watch them sing commercial jingles

I am convinced that the major festivals try to get Pearl Jam every year. I have no facts to support that position, but I certainly would if I was in charge of booking talent. Many of the festivals restrict the band's ability to play other festivals and regular shows within a certain vicinity and time frame. I would not expect 5 festivals. One or two at most with other dates sprinkled in. The only question is where and when.

I don’t know the dates of the other festivals but I think the Jazz Fest dates and location does match up with the Lovin Life fest.  Also lines up with some other scattered shows in the south.  I agree with like two festivals and a handful of other shows.

ACL usually takes place over two weekends. It's uncommon for a headliner to do only one or the other, but highly doubt ACL would turn them down if that was a stipulation.

Funny as a local that they’re rumored every year for ACL and have only played it twice.

Not from me. I do believe that each year every major US festival tries to book them. I am not surprised to hear rumors about any US rock festival. Management is probably in talks with a few different festivals. I do believe it is the festival paydays that gets them back out on the road next year, but that is just my opinion.

Love the handle.  I hope that is referencing what I think it's referencing.  Judging from your listed shows, I'm guessing it is.

    It's been a decade.

it honestly wouldn't surprise me at all if ACL is in the cards for next year.  Seems about due.

The shows at Moody were fun last year, but I don't see that happening in Austin again next year.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Guess we would have rumors by now if they really are playing European summer shows in 2025.

New album tour and only 6 shows in Europe/UK. Meh.

Yeah it’s really rubbish if we don’t get more Dark Matter shows. Will be odd having a situation with such a great new album and no shows in Germany, Holland, Italy and only the 1 in U.K.

frick. "short canada run" never includes the middle province.
One of my goals in life is never to set foot in Saskatchewan or Manitoba.  (I spent a summer in medicine hat, AB, so I know I'm not missing anything).  So far I am succeeding.

Medicine Hat is a pretty cool little city, actually. Its the sunshine capital of Canada, over 330 days a year. Great little airport, short drive to Montana and Sask, great quality of life there, low crime. Visited relatives there last summer, then drove to Missoula for the big show👍👍
uh... when I was college age on a summer internship it was the last place in the world I wanted to be.

Nothing to do, no where easy to get to cheaply, and nothing but wheat fields for miles.  No thank you.

what a strange goal. Outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba is a gorgeous province. Loads and loads to see and experience.

This is one picture of but one of our thousands of world famous beaches. This one is just an hour north of Winnipeg.

Grand Beach Provincial Park - Interlake Tourism
Pretty picture, but you can take a picture like that in a lot of places in Canada.  it's not going to convince me to go to Sask or Manitoba.

I grew up within walking distance of places like this:

St Johns Newfoundland and Labrador Adventurescom

    or

Beaches and Look-outs Logy Bay Middle Cove Outer Cove

    ....

but getting back to the point of this thread:

Pearl Jam isn't playing Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or Newfoundland anytime soon.

    Let's all go to Toronto!

    LMAO

Definitely not too early for Euro rumours. If they were doing EU/UK shows next summer we would have had rumours by now. Most acts who are in Europe and the UK next summer have their dates already out - Springsteen, Green Day, Coldplay, Oasis etc.

You've just said it's not to early for rumours yet if they were doing shows in europe we would of heard rumours by now 🤦

I agree with everyone saying November is normally the time rumours start

If the band does play in 2025, Montreal needs some lovely. It's been what, since 2011? It's been a while.

Same with Halifax, Nova Scotia & St. John's, Newfoundland. It's been 19 years since they played Atlantic in Canada.
