Seems to be a lot of artists announcing tours early for next summer......

Its too early to be getting excited for a PJ announcement right?

I would guess no announcement while they are still on tour. They seem to go quiet over the holidays. I suspect it will depend on the festivals they choose to play in 2025. After January or later if the festivals are in the late summer or fall.  If they are doing South America it might be earlier. Not sure they want anything to do with Perry after recent events. Pure speculation though.

The Ten Club policeman is back! Thanks for the zinger….You got me again.  Your obsession with trying to call people out on the smallest things is uncanny.  I hope that gives you purpose in life.

It gives me purpose in the context of rumor threads when I can recall who repeatedly throws up on their balls. Hope you're right about Tool though.
Tool at the Sphere would be the shit, but a month long residency feels like a bit much for them.

You can already knock out 6 weeks in the spring with the Sessanta tour. Not sure if they would be more likely to do something before or after that.

I think the only thing they have booked at the moment is some festivals in SA in March - there's no reason they couldn't do a few weeks there in January or February... if AJ was ready for the Sphere that is... I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to revamp some of the visuals before doing so (maybe he's doing that this fall, idk).

if there is an european tour next year , the announcement will be made as usual on early december.
last year was an exception because they chose to announce everything at once in february(album and whole year tour)
and to be fair the late annoucement alongside high prices really hurt the overall sales, i think they learned from that mistake.

as for an US tour next year i would believe the normal late january/early feb announcement

I’m just sharing rumors from credible sources. Some have happened, others have not. Nothing is 100% confirmed and anything can change but you can’t seem to wrap your little brain around that.

Hi All, I decided back in May I wouldn’t read this thread at all until October 1 so as to focus on and enjoy 2024.  I was able to do so, and have today caught up on the thread.

My summary and open to corrections:

Facemeltor, who was credible on 2024 rumors, strongly hinted at Sphere.  (Personal note:  I’d probably go, but I did not enjoy the Dead show there on the night off in LV.  I would rather see PJ in any other venue that has good reserved seat options, and particularly outdoors.)

There was talk of South America in the spring, based on some posts from down there; maybe less so now with the Lolla’s not having PJ.

Jeff indicated hopefully they’d be back to London and Berlin (note:  for Indy, he said they would be back, not hoped to be back, and Indy tickets were postponed not cancelled, so this tells me London and Berlin are far from certain).

Some people want Canadian shows.  I’m Canadian and would take that, but there doesn’t seem to be any foundation for this - only wishful thinking.

    Jeff liked a Pittsburgh post.

During one of the 2024 Seattle shows Ed hinted at a possible future Seattle residency.

And people argued with each other over whose wishful thinking was more grounded in reality than each other.

Anything I missed that has any foundation?

My rule of thumb: If a band member says something on stage or 10C mentions something like "we'll try to make this up in the future" ....at the time that happens, they don't know anything.

I don't take any of that seriously.

This is key. People need to remember there *is* a distinct difference between "canceled" and "postponed." In the immediate aftermath of Indy 2023, people kept saying it was "canceled" and they were dead wrong. Maybe their plans *that night* were canceled, but the actual show itself was not canceled.

If 10C mentions things like "refunds will be issued over the next few days" then it's canceled and any future show at that city has zero to do with the show that got affected.

A band member "liking" a post means absolute jack.

I'd be surprised if the band doesn't play multiple cities in 2025.

Here's what I'd like to see:
    Early 2025 -- South America
    Mid 2025 -- Europe
Some time in 2025 -- USA. Great Lakes area (think the area of Detroit, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Ohio) and Southeast USA...think Florida and Atlanta.

Will we get all that? I don't think so.

I think Ohana will happen. And maybe a few shows around that. But it just might be EV solo. I expect a long break once this tour is over.

Now that 2024 shows have wrapped up, and after seeing Pearl Jam perform at Ohana 2024 in all of their splendid, legendary glory, I'm very excited for the 2025 shows.  They sound really great.  "I miss you already..."

It will be Pearl Jam's 35th Birthday in 2025.  They travelled to us in 2024, so let's travel to them to celebrate with them PJ35 style!

The special PJ35 show that I dream of are:

    The Gorge
    Redrocks
    Philly (Art Museum)
    London (Hyde Park)

Dear PJ Management:  If you build it, we will come :rock_on:

This wouldn’t surprise me at all. This was by far the busiest touring year they’ve had since ‘16, and they’re older now, so I’m sure they’re in need of a break. I’d much rather them take a break from touring for a year to refresh and come back recharged in ‘26 than burn themselves out. Maybe we’ll get a small run of shows next year, but another large-scale tour with multiple legs would surprise me.

Agree. I think that’s what the 2023 shows were for, so I’d say 8-10 shows. Wouldn’t surprise me if half of those were at the sphere.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I don't know shit, but I suspect short runs of South America and Canada were penciled in. But Ed wants to play the Sphere. We'll see.

I think in this climate where playing shows and selling merch related to those shows  are the only way to make money (no one is making money selling records), we don’t see many full calendar years off any more.
