The Backseat Lovers did this for their Waiting to Spill tour. Played the new album, and then other songs from their growing catalog.

Yeh I would love this. I dont normally love the full album shows but would love them to come out with Scared Of Fear and smash through the whole album in the first set. If you dont do it at every show, do it in Manchester or London please ;-)
Please no more than 3 songs per show of the new stuff.

Probably won’t happen but then again, this band rarely dial it in, so anything is possible. The smaller the venue and crowd then the more chance it has of happening. I for one (on just two listens) would not mind. This album is phenomenal.
I think Stone has already said they plan to play lots off the new record, and hinting at some new production so could be visualisers at the shows maybe.
Maybe get through the whole album when playing 2 shows in the same country then, e.g half in manchester then other half in london

absolutely seconded. thirded, fourthed or whatever it is. Either of these shows would be incredible.
Even pop out before the support and rip through the album as a warm up first LOL
Yep. Thats what I want. 50 shows in, and having heard all of the dark matter album, I want to hear each of these songs again, only live. As much as possible.
If they play 22-24 songs, thats about 1/3rd of the show. Its the Dark Matter tour, afterall.

I think they could start out with-2-3 slower ones, go right into the album, then play a few staples and close out the first set. First encore has 5 big hits, maybe a rarity, then the usual 3 outros.
So it seems, that for those who have heard it, its about 3 out of 4 who are super stoked, and then it just didnt hit that hard for the other. Which is fine, at this point in the game, its expected.
I remember when I heard Yield (Fav album), a few songs didnt land with me. Do the Evolution, in particular....that song just didnt click until I heard it live and now its obviously a classic. Also, Pilate...didnt like it at all. Now I love it. Some of the songs take some time, some live tweaks, etc to hit.
That all said...I have not been this excited over a collective of songs since maybe ever. There have always been a few that I am like, "ok, this is cool, but prob will skip on most occasions based on my mood" or even "Hmm, I dont think I like this one".

I dont have any of that with this record.
Yeah, 10+ years from now people will praising it like they do No Code, which also took a lot of 💩 when it first released.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

Thats about 1/2 the show...
Also why would you want about 1/2 of the show to be spoiled for you knowing whats being played?

I would not be upset hearing these songs every night. Im going to see Green Day knowing they are going to play all of Dookie and American Idiot at every show.

Then we get the 6 staples at most shows.
That leaves 5 songs to be different each show.
That does not sound like a great idea to me.
