There is a 6 year old kid in our neighborhood who told me Pearl Jam is his favorite band (probably because of parents, ha). Last time he was over playing with one of our kids I gave him a 2024 ten club sticker. Then a couple of days ago he put these in our mailbox:
Thanks OP for the enthusiasm and I agree 100%. The fact this band is 80% in tact since the beginning and has been 100% in tact for the last 26 years should absolutely be celebrated. How lucky are we to still get to enjoy this band with new music and a new tour. My first show was in 1998 and here we are 26 years later and have 3 shows on my calendar. That these guys still enjoy creating and playing music together is a special thing. None of us should take that lightly. It's a wonderful thing for them and for us.
Yeah man! 7 days to the new album which sounds AWESOME and 34/36 days until GA in Vegas (take all my $$$ Vega$ - yes, no prob Signore Abruzzo). Stooo--oooo----oooooked.

Out of the two Vancouver shows. For night 1, out of 6 of us going, for 3 people it will be their first PJ shows. One is my former coworker and her husband, whom because I'm a diehard PJ fan I'd book off the time off work before she could every time, but now that I do a different job and it's on saturday, it all works out. Plus one of my best friends wives is coming too.
For the 2nd show 1 out of 4 us will be going to their first PJ show. One of my best long standing friends, and one of the rare few who has never come out to a show. Me and my other friend bought his ticket so he couldn't say no.
That's 4 people in 2 shows going to their first. I'm pretty excited about it. I haven't pulled off something like in a long time, if ever
Congrats to those taking kids to their first shows! So much fun!
I took my son to his first 2 PJ shows in 2022, Nashville and St. Louis. We drove, did sightseeing, added in Mammoth Cave between shows, and listened to tons of music in between! Also Third Man Records where we met record label cohead Ben Blackwell. So many memories!
Have fun with y’all’s kids! Pass along that PJ love!

I'm taking my 9 year old son to his fist concert when they hit Fenway park.... going to be so awesome!
Cool! I'm taking my 14 year old to Philly 1 for her first and may bring my 10 year old to Fenway 2 for her first. Depends on mom wanting to go or not. She was clear that I was not to go to Fenway 1 on her birthday LOL
Been stressed lately so all this is welcome, doing local record store Sunday, theatre Tuesday… 9 or 10 shows this year
its the best outlet for real life shit I’ve had in my life, never take it for granted
the 2.5/3hours @ a show is the best feeling
Boy that is true. I get in an anxious state the whole time when I travel for pj but the second they hit the stage it all goes away
Same here. During/after the pandemic, I forgot how much live music meant to me. I made up for it with a vengeance last year (PJx2, Foos, DMB, Tool, Pumpkins, Phish, and Metallica). Relived 1998 all over again Following it up with 5 shows planned so far this year (4 PJ and 1 foos).
My dad and I saw our first PJ show in St. Louis for the Gigaton Tour and then our second during the second leg of it last year! He’s been a fan since day one and never got a chance to see them. It’s always been my mission to get us at a show. We’re sitting this year out but the band is really special to us and what we bond over most at times. Lightning Bolt and Dark Matter and Gigaton were the first records I got to experience all the promotion and build up to and getting hyped about the band with my dad is always a treat.
Loved the first couple of tracks I heard from the new record and am super stoked for the tour to start. Doing 2 Leg 1 & then four on the east coast in September…. hoping to hear almost the whole album live.🙏

Super excited for everything going on around the new album and tour. I'm doing record store listening party tomorrow and theater screening on Tuesday. I'm getting an album release on my birthday, going to 7 shows on the spring leg. Still looking for Philly tickets but I'll be there either way, I'll be seeing PJ friends I haven't seen since the 2016 shows. Can't freaking wait!!

I'm doing the listening party and theatre screening, plus the immersive experience and 4 (maybe 5?) shows this spring/summer!
