And in another thread labeled wreckage I was this enthusiastic and I was told to “chill” this is exciting. Life is hard, enjoy what you can! It’s okay to have fun with this! ⭐️
Enjoy this to the fullest! When I was a kid, in 1996, recording on cassette tape the Berlin show from that year that my local radio station was broadcasting, I imagined that PJ would be around for years to come and I wondered what they would come up with several albums down the road.
Hard to believe we are still on the new album release ride when many of their contemporaries are no longer active.
Never let anyone tell you that what you love is wrong.
Cheers!
@Te@"Ten Backspaced Riot Actors" you Rock man. Thats the type of support and enthusiasm the world needs. It seems like the band has caught something, and for everyone it's like a breath of fresh air. Who knew this was possible. No hating on Gigaton... there are some really well crafted musical landscapes. But tbh, overall and maybe it's bc of the time period the songs haven't stuck the same with me. I was lucky enough (and it was a tough day) to see them @ Sea Hear Now, and then MSG. MSG was amazing, and Sonic Reducer sounded very similar to the version (I am no pj scholar) I love the most from Florida in '94. I also paid dearly to see the Earthlings, and you could see Ed had caught some energy then. I think it was contagious in a good way! I am a teacher, and it's amazing how youth can bring you back to a place you never thought you'd get to visit again. Some people hate teachers, but (long story, and involves hearing Long Road live in San Diego '06) but I'm not the popular teacher... kids respect me, I help them get jobs, I kid around with them and I work extremely hard year round. There are times the youth vibe brings me up and it's a special thing. This is too long... im gonna get a hater again. But, maybe I'll run into you at Philly 1, Boston 1 or MSG's!!!

Hey there, always best to be positive! Awesome that you are a teacher. Much respect, I wish I was going to any one of those shows, just not in the cards for me. Take care and enjoy 😊
Thanks OP for the enthusiasm and I agree 100%. The fact this band is 80% in tact since the beginning and has been 100% in tact for the last 26 years should absolutely be celebrated. How lucky are we to still get to enjoy this band with new music and a new tour. My first show was in 1998 and here we are 26 years later and have 3 shows on my calendar. That these guys still enjoy creating and playing music together is a special thing. None of us should take that lightly. It's a wonderful thing for them and for us.
