Bought my kids ear defenders in the week, not sure they’ll stay for long, but figured they’d be a good investment for concerts down the line anyhow.

I caught myself smiling during a few songs because of how good it is.

I kept thinking oh this is gonna be great live and that if I was liking it this much on first listen, it's only going to get better as I listen again

Enjoyed the record. Was at looney tunes on Long Island.  They didn’t really play it loud so I’m looking forward to hearing it on Tuesday in theater.

Overall the first two songs really stood out. Enjoyed the record as a whole.

As I said in the other thread, I had a hard time finding a weak link in the album. It was great start to finish.

Yeah I thought it was incredible, and my store’s speaker setup wasn’t exactly top shelf so I feel like I still have a ton to discover

Just watched the Matt Cameron interview with Matt Pinfield.  MC mentions they have a few left over songs from Dark Matter sessions but that Watt wanted a concise 10 or 11 song record.

Won't Tell was a big stand out for me. I didn't know the name at first but I was like wow.

I got my brother in law to snag me a slip mat and poster up in Idaho, all the stores “near” me were 4 hours away! But I’m hyped I have a CD, record and merch for an album that’s getting alot of love

Loved hearing the album today! Standouts were React/Respond Waiting for Stevie and I’m super curious to hear Upper Hand again. That one sounds like quite the musical journey.

The whole album sounded really good on that first listen. Can’t wait for it this week!

Super excited for everything going on around the new album and tour. I'm doing record store listening party tomorrow and theater screening on Tuesday. I'm getting an album release on my birthday, going to 7 shows on the spring leg. Still looking for Philly tickets but I'll be there either way, I'll be seeing PJ friends I haven't seen since the 2016 shows. Can't freaking wait!!
This is what it's all about. Have  a blast
Thank you! It sure is, the shows are just the cherry on top.
I'm doing the listening party and theatre screening, plus the immersive experience and 4 (maybe 5?) shows this spring/summer! :triumph:

( Lol, that's what my coffee cup looks like...)

It’s always exciting when PJ is putting out new music. But…this one feels different. Seems like they might have pushed to a new level for Dark Matter (at least according to most reviews). I can’t wait to hear it!
