Well that's the first time anyone has said the tickets are being held for us. Ticketstoday seemed to use non committal language.

IF, I actually RECEIVE, the FOUR Gold Circle tix that me & my wife hit (for AKL1), then paid for, then were reimbursed for, then were told that we DO have them, but would be charged LATER for....THEN we would have TWO EXTRAS to sell (at FACE)...if we DON'T receive ANYTHING, we'll be LOOKING for 2

With any luck, the tickets will process when my 10C Vancouver bleeders are refunded so there won't be blip on my credit card! Maybe credit card cycle 3 since pre-sale date?

Alternatively, I'm okay with hitting night 2 only, for the kid's sake. Can't really see this happening though.

I put in a bid to upgrade our seats. It's seems like an irresponsible way to spend, unless you factor in how lying down flat for 14 hours the night before the show would be beneficial for a Pipsqueak who wishes to dance to Dark Matter with the Māori and European NZ's Pākehā people!

(And my 10C Vancouver hometown tour opener tix that I upgraded after the verified sale got refunded this morning too!)

I'll never cross the international date line and arrive less than 24hrs before show.. I've learned it takes me a whole day and a half to feel "normal"

I splurged and got the lie flat seats.   My trip starts off fast. PJ the first night, 7am next day driving up north, 36 holes of golf, etc...  I cannot sleep on planes in a regular seat.  I expect I'll be skipping out of the last two songs of the encore in Auckland to beat traffic and get a good night's sleep.

This was my rookie timechange mistake. I thought if I left on the 6th I'd arrive on the 7th. Oopsie daisy 🌼

Leaving early - ahh maybe that's how I'll play the dreaded travel to the CBD after the first show night! Good thinking!

We've all made that mistake - its all part of the travel experience game. My tip- Just dont make the fatal mistake of thinking a small nap will help when you arrive- did that once and wrote off an entire day sleeping 🤦‍♀️. Im envious of lie flat beds - couldnt make my budget stretch to business class from UK this time sadly. However Ive consoled myself with Emirates new premium economy class and instead doing a month long trip over there. And dreaming about a free upgrade offer.

    Is it November yet!?

Yeah, I did that my first trip to Europe.  I was able to get myself out of bed to see the show, but that was about it for that day.   Two years ago I got to Dublin and saw Crowded House that night.  Nice to get something scheduled for the evening so that it forces you to power through and try to go to bed at a local time.  I can't wait for November.  18 days on the road.
