I wore an "ATHLETE" T-shirt when i went to see Pearl Jam play at the Sydney Olympic site in Australia hehe i was 2nd row also wore it in Newcastle so they might recognise me.. how sad well not really! You guys would understand. I was pretty much in the same spot for both
I don't know...isn't there kinda a difference between being a FAN and just liking a song or two or having a couple Pearl Jam songs on your ipod? I mean, I like two or three Metallica songs, but I am by no means a Metallica fan. In fact...overall...I hate Metallica.
Wow, the only ones I’ve heard of are the tennis players Who are all these people?

Matt and Jeff Hardy talk about Pearl Jam often in interviews. I've seen pictures of Joey Mercury/Matthews wearing Pearl Jam shirts. Shannon Moore also.
He has Long Road and Corduroy on his playlist, and talks about how he loved meeting Eddie Vedder. Matt Hardy just got a whole lot cooler!
"This town deserves a better class of criminal... and I'm gonna give it to them."
I met Brian Rolston outside the Meadowlands afetr a Devils game. I was in my VEDDER 10 devils jersey and he loved it, told me he has been to 10 shows (and this was 5 years ago) and loves them.
Woody and Ed have become good friends from what I have heard.
I don't know if wood counts as an athlete any more. He is more a guy that hangs out in the infirmary. Him and Pavano should become buddies they could be bed mates.

i think you mean Marc-Andre Bergeron. Patrice is on the Bruins.
Yeah, him.
Patrice/Marc-Andre, forward/defence, Bruins/Islanders. I was close...well not really, but at least i got the last name right.
For all we know, Patrice does too (but he plays for the Bruins so who really cares?).

I was there Monday too but I guess I was too busy checking out the 2 half-dressed coeds standing next to me behind home plate in the 9th inning when he pinch hit. I'll listen next time he comes up and I'm there for sure.
i know about 3523 athletes who are into Pearl Jam but seeing as how you didnt put our e-fanzine up as a sticky then i'm not telling you who they are!!!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
I was excited to see you mention Pearl Jam, my favorite band, in the last mailbag. Two questions: How did you like the concert (I loved it)? And two, did any of the players get to go over to the show after the game? I'm pretty sure Ben Broussard is a fan. If any of them did get to go, what did they think?

Fantastic show, particularly considering I was in the 20th row and celebrating a birthday.
As for the players, I asked Broussard if he made it over after Saturday's game to see one of his favorite bands, but, unfortunately, he wasn't able to. That's OK, though. Broussard, from what I hear, can entertain himself with a fantastic version of "Yellow Ledbetter" that he performs with an acoustic guitar and a beatbox. No lie.
words seem so out of place.
