Yeah."That's part of the curse: If you're gonna play the song, you better play it. I've tried to phone in "Jeremy" a few times, and it's tough. It doesn't work."

Jim Edmonds used to come up to plate with "Alive" playing. This is circa 2000."That's part of the curse: If you're gonna play the song, you better play it. I've tried to phone in "Jeremy" a few times, and it's tough. It doesn't work."

Matt Bradley from the Washington capitals
He is actually a Ten club member, I've talked to him about Pearl Jam before and right away he mentioned how they're the best band in the world. Apparently he sits about 10-20 rows back every show, so he's been a fan for a long time.
Sometimes they play a players ipod playlist in between periods and when they did his it was all PJ and some of it were the rarer not radio songs.
Also PJ is listed as his favorite band on his profile page on the capitals website in the kids area0 -

And how do you know they are a fan?
Workin' on a list and I know I've missed someone. :( Thanks!
Love,

Is this for the next issue of Tiger Beat?
Seriously, though am I the only one who finds this completely ridiculous? Is this about finding validation from liking something that some jock likes too? Or is it a matter of identifying fans that are more important than "ordinary fans"? What about a list of fans that are doctors, or nurses, or police(wo)men, or teachers, or anyone else who makes an actual difference?
Or hell, I rather have a feature on fans who have followed the band 15+ years and have seen hundreds of shows, because I find that behaviour a lot more interesting than someone who has "Jeremy" play whenever he comes to bat.My Pearl Jam Photos

It's common knowledge. He's a huge fan of Pearl Jam, in fact it was he who got me interested in them, since I was a fan of his to begin with. He used to listen to bootlegs through his walkman before he played matches, I've got photos of him listening to PJ bootlegs. He also wore a PJ cap during an interview I saw of him.0 -
not sure if this counts for anything.... but Aussie cricketer Shane Warne was at the first Melbourne 06 show.I'd rather be with an animal.0

Ted Johnson and Teddy Bruschi from The patriots are big fans. I sat directly next to them at Great woods 98. It was awesome, we were Hi fiving each other when good songs came on. They signed my ticket stub, but I lost it cause I suck haha
I also heard ted Johnson tell a story on the radio how they drove to the Augusta ME show and had to drive back for practice the next game.BOOP BEEP BOOP BOOP

He was backstage @ pinkpop 2000. He also received the complete 2000 tour bootlegs...0
