anyone mention Jason Bay from the pittsburgh pirates? Not 100% sure if he's a fan, But he better well be now after all the support PJ got him for the All-Star game!
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

former WWF wrestler Bret "Hitman" Hart (from Calgary, Alberta). He once wrote a review of "Vitalogy" for WWF's official magazine, where he also stated that he was invited by the band to watch a show from the side of the stage.

Damian Miller the Brewers backup catcher is a big PJ fan. They play WWS when he comes up to bat at Miller Park.

I forgot to mention Kyle Korver of the Philadelphia 76ers. I know he goes to see PJ whenever they come to Philly and I'm pretty sure I heard on MMR that he had dinner with Jeff before the Reading show in 04.

Kyle Korver definitely. Know he played hoops with Jeff at Nova back during the 2006 tour as well - set up by Matt Cord. Picture of that on WMMR's website.

AJ Feeley and Heather Mitts. Saw them at the 2003 shows in Camden. Feeley is the Eagles backup Quarterback and Heather Mitts is on the USA Women's soccer team (and smoking hot).

Marty Murray who used to play for the Flyers - no clue who he is with now. But on the Flyers calandar one year he said Ed was person he most wanted to have dinner with.

Greg Dobbs who's now with the Phillies and used to play in Seattle bats to Hail, Hail.

At least he did the two games I saw him bat in person this year.

Damn I must be slipping - I haven't noticed that song for Dobbs yet - I'll have to check it out the next time I go.

Back in 2003, Ed threw out the first pitch for a Reds/Cubs game. After the game he went into the clubhouse and did an acoustic song or two.

A story in the paper here later said that Sean Casey actually roped off the area where Ed had played with caution tape and wouldn't let anyone even think about sitting in 'his' chair, or disturbing the area in any way. Kept it that way for the rest of the season, sort of like a shrine.

and yeah, Bronson Arroyo is a huge Pearl Jam fan as well. He has stated in several articles he tries to emmulate Ed when he performs, since he is the budding rock star, after all.
    Nice shirt.

You just reminded me of someone - Todd MacCullough. He used to be a center for the 76ers and Nets and had to retire a couple years ago due to injuries and is the 76ers announcer now. He went to University of Washington and would go to the PJ shows with Korver and Matt Cord.

Patrice Bergeron - New York Islanders. After being traded from Edmonton to the Island he was interviewed at the airport and had a limited edition toque (touque?) from the Canadian tour.

    That's all I got.

i think you mean Marc-Andre Bergeron. Patrice is on the Bruins.

Haha...no I really, really hated UNC back then (not more than Duke), and he was like the cult star of that team. They (like Dick Vitale, maybe an article in SI) used to talk about how the students loved him, and that he loved Pearl Jam which at that time was the thing to do. It's always stuck in my head.

Also heard an interview he did on a local NE radio station where they asked what he had in his CD player, and he said I have Pearl Jam in Japan...I almost spit out my soda when I heard that. Plus he does that concert for Jimmy Fund with Theo and Bronson every year where they play a handful of PJ covers.

I saw Gammons on the side of the stage of the VFC shows in Boston in 04 so he's definitely a big fan.
