FWIW, I had deck passes for Indy.  A colleague of mine bought the 2023 season Ruoff pass and gave me the PJ tix.

He reached out to his contact in group/premium sales for Ruoff and just asked about the possibility of a reschedule date being announced.  His contact told him that they are hoping to get it rescheduled but do not have anything locked down.  Also said that they are about 90% booked for next year already.

So this isn’t a whole lot of new data, but just thought it was relevant.

Can’t say I love this news, but thanks for the update!
I don't like the thought of 90% of dates already booked and PJ doesn't have one locked in..  :s
I bet they have a pending date reserved though. They only show 8 bookings on their website...if they are 90% booked then there are a ton of reserved spots that haven't been announced yet
Yeah, I didn’t take the info I got from him as “doom and gloom”.  I also don’t think he’s totally locked in on everything going in behind the scenes.  But it’s info when we’re not hearing much.  He told my friend a month or so ago that they absolutely want PJ back, so perhaps it’s just more about contracts, etc. and the long time it takes for this stuff to get done.

I don’t plan on flying to Indy for the replacement show, but I know how terrible we all felt that Sunday afternoon, so I’m sure hoping it gets rescheduled and EARLY in the 2024 rotation. (Assuming they start in late April/early May).

Booked a hotel 20 minutes away from the venue for the 25th for some proper rest before the show and then driving straight home afterwards.

I did the same. For some reason, the Embassy Suites (where we stayed in Sept) shows as sold out for months from mid-April on. I wonder if it's going under renovations?

FYI, I called the Embassy Suites Noblesville yesterday to inquiry about room availability (since all of Jun, Jul, and Aug 2024 say "Sold Out"). She told me they haven't opened up their books for those months yet...but said to start checking for availability around the second week of January.
Also, the Holiday Inn Express, right next to the ES, has rooms available for the 24th, 25th, and 26th of Aug. I made 1-night reservations for all three nights as placeholders until the ES bookings start showing up. Not sure about the Wyndham.

I booked the Wyndham on Aug 26 for $108.80 +taxes with AAA discount.
I think that Holiday Inn was like $195.

  • Holiday Inn starts at $217 for a cancelable room now. Non refundable are slightly cheaper, but with nothing confirmed yet, that's taking a big chance

Wyndham was 130ish for members.. thats taxes included and cancellation up to 24 hr before check in. That price will probably double when the show is announced

    Thanks for the responses .

I have AAA, but I did not see that on Wyndham website when trying to Book(I did not Book yet). Better off calling?
  • Just remember which of the hotels allowed cancellation without penalty when 9.10.22 was cancelled.  Hint:  it wasn’t the Wyndham.

Yep, they wouldn't even consider a credit towards a future stay. From what I read on here and other places, other hotels at least tried to work with people who were cancelling. I have the Holiday Inn Express booked for the 2 rumored nights.

My CC dispute against the Wyndham was ruled in my favor today. Spoiler alert, Wyndham never responded to the dispute so I won.

Whenever this gets announced we should rendezvous at Sun King Brewery the night before. This time in celebration instead of sorrow!
  • It seems that Aug 26 is shaping up to be the date.. anyone heard any other news for the Indy show?

Seriously?  They are going to make up for a show, by rescheduling it a year later on a freaking Monday??  Jesus Jones, these guys just can't stop screwing people over.

On another note, I thought I read we can get a refund on the tickets we bought 2 years ago.  Anyone know what the process is for this?  I don't think I'm going to blow 2 days off and another grand to see them play 20 songs, especially if it remains at this outdoor venue that apparently is a nightmare to get in and out of and has nothing around it for entertainment.  Its literally nowhere near Indy.

I mean by the time the show actually happens it will a year and a half, but whatever.  People seem to enjoy getting whizzed on.  I honestly don't care if they had to postpone the show because of an illness.  That stuff happens, but waiting like 6 hours before the show to do so was a bit ridiculous.  Then not making it a priority to reschedule that show first before scheduling a bunch of other shows it pretty out of touch.  Then if its going to be rescheduled a full calendar year later on a Monday night, that's just another kick in the pants.

Anyway, if anyone knows how to get a refund, that would be cool.  Otherwise, I'm sure their new lovers over at Ticketmaster will gladly take them back and resell them with more fees and another upcharge.
