Shouldn't we be getting a tease for the poster tomorrow?  Has anyone in FW seen the merch truck?  Concerned for a friend.

Was heading up to the arena now. About an hour drive to wait in line for merch but the poster is kind of disappointing so I’ll just chill at the house for a while longer and take my chances at the arena tonight.

It is, but no less odd than a jersey IMO.

It is... I was inclined to mock it at first, as it seems a step down from a flag or jersey, but OTOH I would be more inclined to display a bandanna on the wall than I would wear a jersey at 46yo.
  • Great poster in my opinion...print is nice as well

Not a fan of that poster at all. I dig the bandana and license plate but I’m fine if I don’t get them. I’ll probably go a little later than I planned tonight now. Maybe if Friday's poster is nice I’ll get there when doors open.

Let's go Bears! B-E-A-R-S Bears Bears Bears!!!
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

  • I don't have access to social media at the moment, so it is difficult to make out the details on the poster from what was posted on GTF, but the rest of it looks pretty cool.

I am proud to present my newest poster, my first ever for the legendary @pearljam This is also my first VICES print to crossover into the gig poster world; VICES #31: Credulity. 18" x 24", this 7 color screenprint was wonderfully printed by Inhouse Screenprinting and is DOUBLE SIDED, with my thoughts on the print's overall meaning of never believing your ears and is topped off with a official Pearl Jam holographic sticker.

The poster itself has elements representing the historic city of Fort Worth, such as the panther statue ( the city is called "The Panther City"). Old lithographs of cattle ranching hang on the walls in reference to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Two Bluebonnets sit in vase on the credenza, the Texas state flower ( shhh, don't tell the police).  And what would a print be that symbolizes Texas without the cattle skull hanging proudly on the wall.

100+ hours of work went into creating this poster. The inks alone took a staggering 75 hours. And it was well worth it. I want to thank @mrtsurt for trusting me with the task and for their wonderful creative eyes. And of course the band for letting me spread the message.

I will have my copies for sale tomorrow. I will post all that info this afternoon. I will also have the original inks up for auction around noon tomorrow. I will post a link to that once it is live.
