As a fellow Knicks fan I hear you. That game 5 in 1993 still haunts me to this very day. I would definitely pass on any merch that is Bulls related. I hate the Cowboys as well and I'm afraid of the potential Cowboys themed mech at Ft Worth which I would also have to pass on as well.RS65573 said:As a knicks/rangers fan I’ll skip all this merch. I was in section 114 last night. There was a merch stand outside that section. After Inhaler I walked out to see how it looked. They had 3 lines for this stand. One of the lines was posters only. There were 7 people in the poster line. It took less than 5 minutes and I had the basketball poster and the blackhawk poster....DONE!0

Alright alright looks like we found one of the ladies in the pic.hihobibo said:I don't get the mocking of the two ladies with 6 filled duffel bags between them in the same thread where there are also multiple requests for people to pick them up an extra item.
Yes, they might be flippers, or they might be the people helping out others with their requests. The hypocrisy on these Boards with who can resell items or who should get extras is so dumb.

That's encouraging to hear! Did anyone happen to pay attention to how many merch stands there were inside last night? Did they have any in the 300 level?PJammin said:I was in section 114 last night. I arrived to have dinner at Queenies (the restaurant at United Center) around 5:15 and there were no lines at the merch stands inside the South Atrium. At this point those stands were pretty thin. Only had the Uke show poster, no signs of hockey jersey, basketball, duffel bags, etc but they had a fair amount of the other wearables. As for inside the venue the main concourse had multiple merch stands. I didn't count all of them but I'd guess 6-7 (i'm sure someone has an exact number). Sorry, but I didn't head up to the 300 level so I'm not sure what it looked like up in the 200's and 300's. I also feel like it's kind of hit or miss on which stands are going to have in stock. They are CONSTANTLY bringing stuff out. In general, it seems like posters are relatively plentiful. If that is your thing you should be able to find what you want with a little poking around and not spending a day in line. There definitely seems to be a premium on the basketballs, the duffel bag and the hockey jersey.dougfloyd said:

Okay cool, that's pretty much what I expected. Didn't know they would do separate lines for the posters though. Thanks for the info!1998 - Noblesville

Were plastic poster tubes allowed to be brought in to the UC last night? I read somewhere, probably FB that they weren’t being allowed. However I saw a couple of people with them. I am thinking of bringing mine tomorrow but don’t want to get there to find out I can’t bring it in.Post edited by JeBurkhardt on0

Yeah, I don't know if that was a universal practice for all of the merch stands but for the stand outside of 114 there was a poster only line. as you lined up it was the line on the far right.dougfloyd said:PJammin said:

I picked up a space hawk poster on the way out and they gave me a plastic bag. Glad they did because it was raining when we left. We had two of the bags so we improvised and put one bag on one end and the other bag on the other end The bags saved the poster. They were also out of poster tubes inside. They gave out rubber bands instead

We got in line at the gate to get in at 430 and were the first ones thru security. Had everything available. Out of line in about 15 minutes.Post edited by ham_on_rye on0

Wow. Buying merch sucks, evidently. I will just completely skip it next PJ show I attend.1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, CaliforniaNothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
2022- Oakland Night 2
2024 Sacramento, CA0 -
Things do get easier when you let go of the impulse to get merch before a show. It can be a great experience sitting in line with some fellow fans. But, since I have to buy a plane ticket any time PJ hits the road (rescheduled Raleigh show when?) I end up just exploring the city and seeing what it has to offer.lexicondevil said:Wow. I hit a merch stand during the encore break last night and was able to pick up some stickers (at that point they were letting you buy as many as you wanted) and a pin. I was happy with that. Then you can get back to your seat to enjoy the rest of the show. I believe the bird poster was still available as well at that point.0 -
