Looking for opinions from people who have been to the Moody Center. Better view Section 207 Row D or Section 109 Row W? 207 is closer to the stage, but up higher.

I gotta say, I’m pretty surprised how many pretty good lower level seats are left for the STP shows. I’m surprised the demand isn’t higher given that’s there’s only 9 shows and the STP shows are over Labor Day weekend.

Right. All the good seats left over are either premium or very expensive resale (which are unlikely to sell at this point). I wonder when the premiums will drop to face value. It’s gotta be soon.

The place will be rocking and most of those seats did sell originally.
  • Twin Cities are a ridiculous fomo town. Pink just sold out Target Field. The promoter has done a terrible job promoting. I was at a wedding this weekend and zero people knew these concerts are happening. They went with 93x as the lead promoter when they should have done I Heart. They have the majority of the stations in MSP and yes 93x fits better, but just barely. They mostly play current rock. I Heart promotes the shit out of their events.

I really don't want to see a lot of empty seats at these shows, as I'm sure the band doesn't either.  I think it will only be an issue for STP and Chicago as well, but sadly the reality is the way the tickets were handled this time around I think it's going to be a reality.  It's a combo of 10C giving out some really bad seats and all of us crazies working diligently to upgrade them along with TM doing their premium/dynamic pricing thing and a lack of tiered pricing. Those tickets were all sold up front, so it's not like anyone lost money (besides the fans sitting on the unsold tickets) but I think between people upgrading and no one wanting to pay the same price for nose bleed uppers and behind the stage as good lowers, there will be considerably more empty seats than we are used to seeing.

Last year in Oakland the upper level or at least certain sections were closed. I guess they upgraded people to better seats. That could happen here

The price on those 118 and 102 Premiums for MSP have already started to drop.
