The fan vote means absolutely nothing. Soundgarden was in the Top 5 and still got left out.

Both Soundgarden and Iron Maiden should have both been in a long time ago.

I actually assumed Willie was already in. Surprised he's just now making it.  I said the same thing about Dolly last year.

Well, not absolutely nothing. It counts for 1 vote, out of 1000.

I will say, that it's now 5 out of 6 that have gotten in from the fan vote. Dave Matthews was the only one who won it and didn't get in.

Anyone questioning the Rock attitude and Rock career of Missy Elliott is clearly a racist and hates inclusion
    1. Red Rocks '95, second night starting on chairs
    2. buncha others, doesn't really matter

This is why they so need to change the name to Music Hall of Fame, cause it's NOT Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

And Kate Bush? She had like one song that was popular right? Was she is some groundbreaking group that I'm not aware of?

From a worldwide popularity perspective I can understand George Michael being on there (surprised he wasn’t already), some of the other artists look really dubious though….

Seems like she was a cult favorite in the UK.

The statements that the hall puts out saying that rock and roll has it's roots in different genres has merit. But that shouldn't create a situation that bands from the rock and roll genre get bypassed for performers from those other genres unless they had an immense impact on rock and roll bands. There are a number of inductees that haven't.
  • I mean they were essentially an entire garden of sound.

Honestly, Kate Bush is one of the most deserving artist to get in on that ballot. Her first album she wrote when she was 15. Most may not like it or accept, but she is deserving to get in.

Kate Bush in uk was massive in the 80s. Probably made more relevant by t.v programmes now
