Josh did an amazing job filling in for Matt.  Ed apologized multiple times for having to cancel and it sounded like they really had to power through to pull together tonight’s show.

The set list was amazing and interesting choice were made for sure.  Also 0 gigaton songs were in the set list….McCready really shined and was great at keeping the energy up, even finding an extra gear which was surprising because he already plays at an insanely high level.

Think Ed might have over reached putting Mind your manners in the set list, he looked in pain during a number of points pulling that one off.

    Man

people posting pics with Matt @ adidas store then he gets sick

    just sayin…

  • I think it's worth mentioning that while Mike was absolutely obliterating us... fking god-like... Stone was really feeling himself tonight too. Rocking the fk out. I don't know how they pulled it off, and it didn't seem like it was easy at all, but holy shit yall that was a plain old BLAST

Kudos to Stone too, he was killing it!!!!  There were a few moments where they pulled things out of the ditch and I think the entire band was giving 110% to power through.  You could really see how critical Matt is to the timing and comfort level of the band.  Ed’s joke about putting an ad in all the local papers was an entertaining aside.  They got 0 responses because no one can replace Matt F’ing Cameron!!!! MFC!!!!

Im sure Josh is going to be sore tomorrow playing a full PJ set list on drums lol.

            Such great news! Great points!
  • I had a great time tonight from the pit!

While it is worth mentioning this is the first post gigaton show with no gigaton that we’ve gotten, this show was also 27 songs and only Mind Your Manners was released after the year 2000.

    Wild night.
  • Looking forward to Friday night! It's the first time in a long time, I haven't done both nights in a city so it feels a little like it will be watching the play starting after the intermission, lol.

How was GA? I won't be able to make it until later so wondering what time it started to get filled up. I haven't received an email yet about the process but most likely won't be needing early wristband. Also, any insider tips on parking.. which lot is better for easy in-out?

    Thank you!

I was geeking out on Stone at Chi1. I was side stage in 333 and could hear him clearly. The rhythm he puts out is mind blowing. He doesn't get enough credit.

Amazing freaking show! Band was on fire! Josh did a great job filling in for Matt. Ed was fantastic pulling through after a bout with flu, I know he had to be hurting after that show.

Hell, even Ed pointed out how good it was and that's from someone who's heard him play that tens of thousands of times.

Yesterday I think they were letting people pay to park and then come back later with the receipt. I saw a few people who didn't need it later try and sell their receipts. They may let you do it for free if you leave but I don't know how they'd track it. It was free today.
