How are us Chicago N1 folks who had it as our #1 feeling?
I’m bummed but this will be the first time not getting at least one show.  I don’t know how it works so is a number in the 400,000 out of luck?
As has been stated repeatedly your seniority has nothing to do with getting randomly chosen in the lottery.
The seniority comes into play for reserved seat location.
    That is all

People, for the 1 millionth time, your member number has nothing to with your odds of being picked in the lottery. Only seat placement.
After all these years I never understand how people haven't grasped this concept.

It’s a joke. 25+ year members are now sitting where there’s barely a view of the stage. Every 100 level seat has a better view than back of floor.
Not saying it's right or wrong, but this has been the case at least for the last few tours.

Also, I don't put any stock in the "check every box, it maximizes your chances" emails that people got from support. That *may* be true, but anyone who's worked at an org of more than 1000 people knows it's an iron-clad guarantee that the people answering those emails don't actually know how it works, and the odds that they asked and got a real answer from someone who does know before replying, *and* interpreted that answer correctly, is very small.
These instructions were also on the ticket request form you filled out.
The same goes for the text that ends up in emails and on web pages. It's *slightly* more likely to be accurate, but if it doesn't include 'how' or 'why' it's still real likely to be something someone totally disconnected from the business process put on there because it "sounds right".
I mean, I guess? I don't see why you'd specifically make up instructions to print on a ticket entry form for no reason. That seems asinine to me but whatevs.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do

The tour announcement noted that 10%of tickets would be set aside as premium tickets.  Does anyone have a sense of what that % was on previous tours? Just thinking about a 15000 seat arena (not including GA obviously).  That's 1500 seats.  That seems higher than in the past few tours.

Lovely, eh?  Yet folks who had 8 choices have gotten every one of them.  For what it's worth a friend got N2 Chicago about 30 minutes ago.
or you can come to terms and realize
you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah...
makes much more sense to live in the present tense...

I don't know if anyone else emailed tenclubsupport@ticketmaster.com but I surely did and kindly advised them their system is broken as fuck and not working properly, in the nicest manner possible of course.  Pending reply.

Will somebody who has double Austin Night 1 tickets if they for some horrible reason let you keep them, will you put me on your nice list to sell? That was my option #1
So, was Austin1 your 1st priority and you haven’t gotten an email with tix yet? If so, this is a major fubar.
yeah, I only wanted those two shows - I live here. Anyway, I got night two which was 2nd choice but not night one and now all kinds of people are getting double tickets. Hope it works out but definitely something not right.
I wonder if anyone who picked Austin1 as their 1st priority got tix. If not, then the double tix from us who had Austin1 as our 2nd priority would maybe explain things. Sorta.
    I did.

Ok I opened my mouth to early! I just got confirmation of scoring tickets to Chicago 2nd night! The seats are not what I expected for my seniority number 27xxx
section 205 row 8 not sure how that works but I’m in the building and my daughter gets to see the band for the 1st time! She’s so damn happy and that makes me happy 😃
This has happened a couple times in the GA era. Typically the response is "ah well we do the best we can" and it's kind of a bummer when seniority is far and away the number one reason why I renew every year.

Yes. Since 2020. And it seems to have gotten worse.

  • In for both nights Ft Worth! Section 110 on 9/13, Section 116 on 9/15. Emails came around 4:30 and 5pm. First time I've ever hit the lottery and I ended up with both. Lucky or lower demand because of Austin? I'll take it either way

I don't remember them specifying the exact amount of premium tickets the last tour. It was hard to keep a good count as the premium seats weren't all available at the same time. Wouldn't be surprised, though, if it's more this time around.

    4.  St Paul 1 Lost
    5.  Austin 1 Lost

    7.  Austin 2 WON

Let me fix this for you.

    1.  Chi 2 Lost -- LOST LOTTERY
    2.  Chi 1 Lost -- LOST LOTTERY
    3.  Noble Lost -- LOST LOTTERY
    4.  St Paul 1 Lost  -- LOST LOTTERY
    5.  Austin 1 Lost -- LOST LOTTERY
    6.  St Paul 2 Lost -- LOST LOTTERY

    7.  Austin 2 WON -- WON LOTTERY

You have to win the lottery for the show you selected FIRST to even be in the ticket pool.

If you do win , thats when priority and seniority applies.

Been this way since 2020 tour.

Some shows are higher in demand then others, thus the reason you won seats with 7th priority.

The only way to fix this and to erase all the confusion is to make the lottery selection a separate process and send the emails to everyone win or lose. Then everyone knows if they won or lost for that show. Then those that won, priority and seniority would then apply to the seat you get.

Yeah its an extra step, but maybe Pearl Jam could convince TM to do it in the future.

    Very true

Also I wonder if there really was a glitch there for those that clicked both boxes vs those that did not. Maybe they half assed a fixed for most cities but messed up with Austin. Those that clicked both boxes are winning both picks for the same priority.
Yeah, who the hell knows. That's the part that's annoying.
I was wondering /thinking the same thing.

    Amen.
Think if moving forward 'GA' only isn't a lotto option, anyone with a higher membership number who isn't satisfied with 'just being in the building' like myself, might be time to drop out of these lotteries and just buy the seat you want on f2f or verified fan.

My member # is in the 470xxx and I always get 100 levels, which are usually great seats. I agree that it's a worse seat to be on the floor but not in GA.

As someone in the (seemingly fairly common) category of:

    1. Austin N1 GA/Res - no email
    2. Austin N2 GA/Res - confirmed reserved

…I am very interested to see how they’re going to sort this out.

Look mate, using big letters doesn't make it more true.

It is not how it worked in 2020.  10club Support @ ticketmaster confirmed it way back then when they botched Oakland draw.  It goes by priority no one with a lesser priority gets in over someone with a higher priority.  Otherwise, there is no fucking point to the priority.

Sorry for the confusion I’m well aware that seniority only affects seat assignment.  I was basing the question on people saying we were getting notified based on seniority.  Sorry
