Plus all the folks I’ve gotten to know here over the years I worry about too.

An interesting (to me) phenomenon that I see happen a lot here and maybe even more so on another music forum I'm a member of is the propensity for people to post repeatedly on a thread that they find is ridiculous.   I don't mean to sound crass or shame anyone (come on, you know I love you people!) but if you find a particular thread to be ridiculous, absurd, or a waste of time, remember that no one is making you post there.  Good gawd, at least I hope not, lol!

My mother's sister lives in Texas.  She thinks Ted Cruz is a noble person who is there to protect her from the illegals.
She's wrong, but she's still my aunt.  Her children are still my cousins.  I also have family in Indiana.

The difference between Massachusetts and Texas is apparently who is really responsible for society crumbling.

In TEXAS it's just the elected government who are the dicks, the people are misrepresented.
In MASSACHUSETTS it's just the people at Celtics games and over at Fenway when Ellis Burks was the centerfielder, THEY'RE the dicks, and the state government is cool.  Is that right?

AND the fact that NO ONE in Worcester or Fall Rivahhhhh is open carrying a fucking assault rifle and a sidearm at Dunkin' Donuts to compensate for their SDE.

at this point, if they stopped playing where there were bad policies, they'd have to stop playing half the fucking country.
As well they should. There’s enough blue states to sate the demand.
    no, they shouldn't.
It’s so funny whenever someone suggests they should only play blue states. What a ridiculous thing.
Why is it ridiculous? They canceled a show that folks had tickets to over a law passed by an elected government. Why not publicly announce, and encourage others to do the same, of not playing states where certain citizens are treated as second or third class citizens? You want to see Pearl Jam? Travel to a state that respects and treats all its citizens as equals.

    Yea, ridiculous.
Please tell me what state does this.  I would like to move there.
I don’t think people realize that not even half the states have included sexual orientation as a protected group in their anti-discrimination laws.

How Long Does It Take to Reload a Musket?

Loading a musket was a multiple-step process. Often bullets and powder were packaged into greased paper cartridges, which also served as the patch placed between the shot and the powder. To load the musket, a cartridge was torn open by biting and tearing off the tip. The powder was poured into the barrel, the cartridge was reversed, and the lead ball was rammed paper-end first into the barrel with the ramrod. The exterior pan was primed with fine black powder, the firearm was cocked, and the frizzen closed. Only then could the shooter could aim and fire.

How Fast Can You Fire An Ar-15?

The rate of fire is one of the most important aspects of any firearm, especially for rifles. A fast-firing rifle is one that will let you get your shots off more quickly than one that has a slow fire rate.

A standard semi-auto AR15 chambered in .223/5.56mm can fire up to 45 rounds per minute, allowing the user to adjust and compensate for center mass as they are firing. Full auto and binary triggers will greatly increase the rate of fire.

Why the Equal Rights Amendment Is Still Not Part of the Constitution

Guess we can't have any shows in the US anymore.. ::shrug::

No, not just in the states that haven’t voted for it yet, voted no, or whose congressional delegations continue to deny women equal rights under the law.

I agree, this entire thread is ridiculous…

Boston has had its share of race issues over the years, so I’m sure someone could start a stupid ass thread for that…

My point is everywhere has something… MA legalizing gay marriage has little to do with their race issues over the years. We could use Whataboutism all day. And No, “most places are not perfect”… should be, “No where is perfect”..  quality of life matrix are pretty good in most states, but compare real estate prices of Dallas vs Boston and get back to me… .. not defending Texas ( as you can see from earlier posts), but they do have the highest Latino population in the entire US… you’re lumping current asshole politicians with the history of the entire state is ridiculous. Texas has had 4 republican governors in their entire history, how many has Mass had? as I said plenty of things you could dig up on Mass other than bad race issues and burning witches…lol but what’s the point… no where is perfect and things change over time… not playing a few concerts won’t change anything except to punish people for their geographic location..
