Not until PJ cancels all the shows at the last minute in support or disapproval of something so the OP can feel vindicated.

    play where your fans are
if you are that bent out of shape about their government
stay an extra day and hold a rally and/or donate proceeds of your show profits to groups you agree with
hold a press conference the day of the show

boycotting the region only hurts your fans and the workers these shows employ.

Why do you care about the laws of a state you don't live in?
That's a dumb and uninformed thing to say....
    enlightenment me
    WTF is "enlightenment me"?
You say I'm "dumb and uninformed" so enlightenment me oh wise one
kinda funny you doubled down on this "enlightenment me" comment.

do you honestly believe you would receive one here?
All you would get at best is speculation.

Has your desire for "explanation" been satisfied?

I could go either way on this. They can go to a place like Texas and make a stink on stage and do some other good stuff.  OR they could argue that because fans travel from so far to see them, their presence there brings in money from outside. Would that matter? Not really, unless a lot of artists did it. But if that was their choice, I'd respect it.

The only wrong thing is to pull the plug days before the show like they did in North Carolina.

That all said, I put in for both Austin shows...so I'll be spending some money in one of America's two most important states (FL).

(As an aside, I live two miles from the first two shows but my wife and  I are all booked (and in for over $1000) on a vacation. Terrible timing...ugh.

If the band wants to play Texas and find a productive way to do so, I think they can.

I look forward to all the posts of support the band receives when Ed takes the stage and rambles about women’s rights, gun safety legislation, health care outcomes and the environment for two and a half hours and they play a three song set of not for you, WMA and Imagine. At all four shows.

I like it! Themed concerts - defund the police, gun control, abortion rights, and free speech.

And for extra effect, (or is it "affect"...  goddamn English language ) for the encore maybe do a few numbers by Ted Nogent or Kid Schlok and end with Neil's "F*!#in' Up".

    Remember these days?
"Grunge icons Pearl Jam say HB2 law is "a despicable piece of legislation that encourages discrimination"

I guess ignoring literally everything going on in Texas is just easier to do these days?

Nine shows for the 2023 US tour. FOUR of them in Texas.

Combined with agreeing to not talk politics while on stage at Wrigley Field due to the ultra-conservative owners wishes, it's sad to see what's happened to the voice this band used to have.

Yes you’re right. Forgive me, I thought 1 thread about this ridiculous topic was enough. I guess we needed another one.

Then lock and/or delete. I didn't see the other. Calm yourself, those extra clicks aren't that bad for you
