Bill Simmons podcast that always kicks off with Corduroy excerpt kicked off with the clip with lyrics from Dark Matter.  The last time it wasn’t Corduroy it was DOTC 4 years ago.
also made a comment about the irony of when Taylor Swift is releasing her album and how it relates to pearl jam so 4/19? or maybe the RSD rumor is true
What about Taylor Swift's release date is ironic?

The RSD rumor is just something someone wrote on Wikipedia without attribution.

Tay-Tay and Paul McCartney has a gentleman's agreement to stay out of eachothers release dates.
Maybe PJ can move theirs with Nirvana to Tay-Tay instead.

Bill simmons was involved with the André the giant documentary, which I thought was a mixed bag. I wonder if Becky Lynch and Adam Copeland will wear pearl jam shirts on wrestling TV this week.

I only brought him up because of the clip.  He’s fine by me.  I like his podcast actually.  Not a fan of the same teams as him but that’s fine.

I used to hate on Simmons, but don't care much one way or the other these days... one thing's for sure, he couldn't have been much less prepared for when he had Jeff & Eddie on his podcast 4 years ago when Gigaton was coming out.

It felt like the only homework he did in advance was to watch PJ20 which was a decade old by that point.

I remember that ep.  Three things stand out:

    1) Bill told the guys he liked the Gigaton material and Ed asked him why he sounded surprised by that.

    2) At one stage Bill disappeared and Ed and Jeff carried on without him.  That was pure gold.

    3) It was during the part of Covid when there was no clarity at all on when or even if concerts would ever be back.
