Is this the next wave in band-produced merchandise? Would you buy one?

Depends on the maker and how it looks. Probably not. But you never know.

  • Everything looks cool about it except the price,  $1599, ouch! A lot of money for a turntable,  I prefer my Dual 721.

You had us at limited edition.
Tempers are wearing thin. Let's hope some robot doesn't kill everybody.
  • Just wondering what this would look like in relation to Pearl Jam. What shape would it be in? What would it look like? Stickman, Yield Sign, Avocado Green? Hmmm... Yeah, $1599 is a little steep for a turntable.

If I can't live in it or drive it, I'm not spending that much money on a turntable

I was so close to pulling the trigger on this. Is it still even usable or has it gone the way of the pocket rocker player?

Maybe?  I suppose it would depend on quality and price?

I use mine like once or twice a month, when I need to bang out some work at home & want great quality music

i have a ton of tunes on it, it def sounds better

    is it niche? Sure

Probably, but I wouldn't use it. I'm set in that category.

I am sure it would sell fast.  Imagine all the unopened turntables that could be displayed with all of some ones sealed vinyl

It should be said, the Metallica one is ugly af.
  • My record player would most likely be better than what they offered.

I was upset w the kids TT that JW offered on his site.

It would sell out in a flash, then hundreds of posts complaining about flippers, shipping costs or why they couldn't get one and that what does a membership even do for them. Then in 4 months people selling them on Lost Dogs for twice as much, with others complimenting them as a great seller.

Full size turntable, no. But a 3” inchophone like the one TMR released on Record Store Day a few years back, I’d be all over it.

Yeah I'll be down for a Pearl Jam edition too.
  • Would rather buy a Riot Act deluxe edition box set
