You can dig up a thread from 10 years ago and the complaints about posters are exactly the same. I feel people’s frustration but the system is what it is. And if you put a little effort in you could be pretty successful snagging one on a drop. There was a semi predictable method for the drops. Unfortunately someone had to post a fake link for the Camden poster that turned everything upside down. As far as the announced drop next week… be careful what you ask for… you just might get it.

No problem with collecting. What im saying is so many people now want these not to collect but to put on ebay.
But who is paying the ebay prices? Collectors who really want that piece of artwork. I have posters for shows I didn't attend because I like the artist or artwork.

Many years ago, I gave up on complaining as I knew it wasn't going to change. I now know, if I want something, what it takes to get it. Time is something we will never get back. So to me, I will try and get lucky on the websites, but if I miss out, I'll just pay or try to trade for one. What do I use to trade? Ill go for the other items that will sell out when I am on and catch them to offset the costs.
I personally am a big Klausen fan. When my son was born he signed a Hawaii print and got it framed to hang in my sons room. When he did that I said, I'm going to start collecting all his prints. Even then the ones that didn't sell out right away on his site or PearlJam.com. Just to show my appreciation towards the artist.

Totally agree. And which Evenbro decides which posters are must haves?

Just a thought….it would be cool if they somehow let people who bought ten club tickets to the show have first dibs.
Thats exactly what i was saying. Makes sense
Makes sense for fans but it more work to sell something that is going to sell regardless. Plus what’s to say someone going to the show isn’t just going to buy it to flip or trade
Camden 2022 poster will go on sale between 10am-11am PDT on TUESDAY 10/25/2022.

where’s the love for St. louis?

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

LOL, the drop is for Tuesday an hour before i go in for my first colonoscopy. I'll spare the details but refreshing my computer is probably not what I'll be doing at that time

I generally do not buy posters for shows I did not attend, but I did buy the Sao Paulo poster because it was all tropical and stuff. The Camden looks rad, but I will leave it hopefully for folks who were there and did not get one.

I have Crohns Disease and can state for a fact that posters can be scored from the bathroom.
Good luck with the scope. I have one annually. Prep sucks, but the drugs are good!

This. A million times this.
The art, the artist, nostalgia/setimental reasons.
I saw Phish at the Gorge in 1997, years before they did posters for every show.
I've bought several Phish Gorge posters from the past few years because the art and artist are great, and I can still look at it and remember one of the best experiences of my life, traveling from Texas to California to Washington, as a 17 year old right out of highschool.

absolutely true...and in the scheme of things the prep isn't that bad....worst part was being hungry as hell since I didn't plan ahead as much as I should have. Ended up eating tons of gummy bears.
