The only for sure I see next year is Chicago... And I'm coming... It will happen.

Also think a spring break in Florida sounds like a good idea.. Some part of my thinks that might happen...

But - for the record - love the Htown speculation... Two nights at Toyota are an easy sell out if one is a Friday and or Saturday... Two major airport hubs (united - bush / hobby - southwest) tons of hotels, a melting pot of awesome food, Astros gonna win the series... We got it all!!!!

My prediction is

PJ South America Tour Feb/March time - 5-6 shows
EV Earthling U.K. / European Tour - Summer either in May or July straight before or after rumoured RHCP tour - 9-12 shows
PJ US ball parks - 6-7 shows

Hoping I’m wrong and we get PJ arena tours in the U.K./Europe and US but have a feeling we will not, given how much Jeff hates touring. My instinct is there will never be another Australian tour - too far and no longer makes commercial sense to the band

I think AUS/NZ is out at this point since we’re already in October 

March - South America

May - Small US tour (Miami, Orlando/Tampa, Atlanta, Raleigh, DC, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas)

Aug/Sept - I think they go for a ballpark run to test the waters in their best markets only - Safeco, Missoula, Wrigley, Camden Yards in Baltimore, Citizens Bank in Philly, Citi Field, Fenway

Maybe AUS/NZ in early 2024

I think that at the moment, it’s much easier and makes more economic sense for them to tour in the Americas for now as others have mentioned

And I used to think a year this “big” wouldn’t be in the cards for 2023, but they do have to make up for essentially 5 years of lost income from unplanned minimal touring 2017-2021

I have no intel, but I'm thinking (hoping at least) that Portland, OR will get a spot on the next leg. The last few shows they were teaming up with Project Red and Alano Club, both organizations out of Portland. If not there, hopefully we get Climate Pledge or T-Mobile again.

Baltimore itself, no.

But if you remember back to 2020, Baltimore was the hardest ticket to get.  

A show in Baltimore is driving/train distance from All of Virginia, DC, Philly, New York, eastern PA, etc…

I think a show at Camden Yards would sell out without much difficulty

Baltimore was a tough ticket because a) it was a small venue for them b) it was one of 2 shows anywhere on the east coast c) it was one of the few Saturday shows and folks were planning on flying in for it. Also, if they replace a small arena show with a huge ballpark show, I'm gonna be pretty disappointed (as if anyone gives AF). But I agree a Camden show would still sell well with fans from all around the mid Atlantic coming into town for it, and other fans coming in to see them at a new venue/classic ballpark

Yeah, Camden Yards is probably the only ballpark on the East coast where I’d prefer a show at the baseball stadium over an arena at this point.  Like you said, an absolute classic ballpark which would be a memorable night.

Yeah, Camden Yards is probably the only ballpark on the East coast where I’d prefer a show at the baseball stadium over an arena at this point.  Like you said, an absolute classic ballpark which would be a memorable night.

I saw Paul McCartney there. I felt really far from the stage even though I was in the lower bowl - but it is a great venue. I would see PJ there.

It was a smaller venue on a Saturday night, and the only northeast show that wasn't at MSG or the Apollo.

Tampa is getting Innings Fest again in 2023, too. Last year had a lot of good bands on one night...if I recall it was Green Day, 311, Incubus.

I expect nothing from the band for the first six months of 2023.  And I get a kick out of reading the posts from people in tertiary markets. They are not playing Maine! Of course, now that I wrote that, they just might.

I agree about Pearl Jam but think Eddie and the Earthlings could come down here and do some festivals.  There is one I go to in Byron Bay that would be perfect for them.

So for 2023, if a similar scenario plays out, I don't see them hitting Canada for leg 1 since all 3 of those cities were tagged in 2022. If they do, it'll most likely be on the Western side of Canada (more on that later). For this model/pitch, I was* using 2023 New Orleans Jazz Festival (also a 2016 stop) as a tentpole, but they aren't in the lineup.

There's always room for festival dates, or special gigs like Third Man, but I feel this (or something like this) will be what we have in store.

Prospective 2023 Tour Leg 1, V.1 (aka "We Could All Use a Redux of the Last 7 Years")

1. Ft. Lauderdale, FL - FLA Live Arena (formerly BB&T Center)
current open dates: 04/01 - 04/03, 04/05, 04/07 - 04/09, 04/11 & 04/12, 04/14 - 04/30/23
- FtL could be a good spot to warm up, just like 2016. Taking the Tortuga Festival out of the mix since the headliners are all country. If they skip FtL, it's possible they could do 2 in Miami??

2. Miami, FL - FTX Arena (formerly American Airlines Arena), ASM Global

current open dates: 04/02 - 04/08, 04/10 - 04/13, and 04/16 - 04/27/23
- Miami is a no-brainer. High energy crowd, tons of money to be made, and a happy promoter. The state of Florida, for all it's faults, is Pearl Jam country. The state is a red mess with blue freckles, and we need the boys back ASAP. The Miami Heat season ends on 04/09 with a home game. If they make the playoffs (50/50 chance), then that would narrow the field of possible dates. I suppose they could get Zo out of retirement?

3. Tampa, FL - Amalie Arena (formerly St. Pete Times Forum) tour stop for 22+ years, always a classic.
current open dates: 04/02 - 04/05 ,04/07, 04/09 & 04/10, 04/12, 04/14 - 04/20, 04/22 - 04/29/23
- Miami might bring the heat, but the best setlists in Florida happen in Tampa. Recently booked events: NCAA basketball, 98 Rockfest & New Edition.

4. Orlando, FL -  Amway Center (hey, it's on the way) - last tour stop in Orlando was a private show at the House of Blues in 2003

- Orlando is the most progressive city in Florida, and even though the Amway Center is owned by the DeVos family, I'd love to see them play there & just absolutely trash them (and Amway itself, lol). Other possible venues:

• ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (Lake Buena Vista) - capacity; 7,500 seats, 3,000-3,500 field capacity = 10,500-11,000
• Addition Financial Arena (UCF) - capacity: 9,400
• Silver Spurs Arena (Kissimmee) - capacity: 8,000 (site of their VFC concert in 2004, also part of the ASM Global network)
• House of Blues Orlando (Lake Buena Vista, 10C show?) - capacity: 2,500+ (site of their exclusive show that streamed 20 years ago on RealPlayer, live in 2003)
  

5. Jacksonville, FL - Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena, ASM Global

current open dates: 04/03 - 04/06, 04/09 - 04/15, 04/17 - 04/28, 04/30 - 05/03/23

- another 2016 stop, and a good venue to cap off what could be a hell of a Florida run (unless they go to Pensacola, or Mobile... both of which have an ASM venue).

6. Pensacola, FL - Pensacola Bay Center, or Mobile, AL - Mobile Civic Center, both ASM Global, around 10,000+ ea.

- PJ haven't played Atlanta in almost 10 years. Is it time to return? Especially if Stacey Abrams win's the Governor's chair?? If not the 2016 path took them from Jacksonville to Greenville, SC to Hampton, VA back to Columbia, SC then down to NOLA.

9. Greenville, SC - Bon Secours Arena

- Ah, Greenville. My favorite album was played there in it's entirety in 2016 (GO TO EVERY SHOW, lol).

6. Buffalo, NY -  KeyBank Center (formerly the First Niagara Center)
current open dates: all of August, first 2 weeks of Sept.
- Always a good show in the other Queen City. If I'm not mistaken, their '13 show here was as close as we've gotten to all of Lightning Bolt (nine tracks!) Again, all contingent on them skipping Brooklyn/Bronx, or stopping there for Leg 1.

7. Albany, NY - MVP Arena (formerly Pepsi Arena) Run by ASM Global

current open dates: all of August, first week of Sept.

- Albany?? Always expect the unexpected with this band. Especially when they go off the beaten path & keep their promoters happy. Granted, I only include Albany here since I mapped out Brooklyn/Bronx. This might not play out in other scenarios.

8. Hartford, CT - Xfinity Center Ampitheatre (formerly Dodge Music Center), or XL Center (formerly the Hartford Civic Center)

current open dates: all of August, first 2 weeks of Sept.

- Hartford. Like Tampa, Hartford brings killer setlists & high energy. The band loves coming here, and if you've never heard them, seek out the trifecta of Hartford '08, '10 & '13. If they play Xfinity, that place is bigger than Camden. 30,000 tickets, easy.

9. New York, NY - Yankee Stadium (2 nights), or Barclays Center (Brooklyn)
current open Stadium dates: 08/07 - 08/17, 08/25 - 09/02, 09/11 - 09/17, 09/28 - 10/03/23

- Pearl Jam Day at Yankee Stadium wasn't just some random occurrence. I'm guessing they've had talks, so I'm listing the available dates here. That being said, the safe choice is Barclays Center. ASM Global, proven market.

10.  Boston, MA - Fenway Park (2 nights), or TD Garden (home of the Celtics)
