Both are sheds/amphitheatres. If true it will be interesting to see if the whole tour is set up that way.
I initially started the thread with the 2016 tour as inspiration, but I'm getting serious 2008 vibes lately.
Short run of a dozen or so shows, mostly Ampitheatres, a handful of arenas, before/after of Eddie & the Earthlings (as opposed to Ed solo), and Ohana to round it all out.
Could be wrong, but would love to be right!

I would love you to be right about Ohana. I really want to take my wife if PJ plays. She missed out on the 21 Encore weekend.
If the Live Nation/outdoor venue rumor is true, here's a list of potential stops for the band (this year, or next)
Alpine Valley Music Theatre - East Troy, WI
Ameris Bank Ampitheatre - Alpharetta, GA (just outside Atlanta)
Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion - Gilford, NH
Coastal Credit Union Music Park - Raleigh, NC
Darien Lake Ampitheater - Darien Center, NY
Dos Equis Pavilion - Dallas, TX
Freedom Mortgage Pavilion - Camden, NJ - - - played last year, but could revisit in 2024
The Gorge - George, WA
Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island - Chicago, IL
Isleta Amphitheater - Albuquerque, NM
iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach, FL (formerly Coral Sky Ampitheatre)
Live Oak Bank Pavilion - Wilmington, NC
Mid Florida Credit Union Ampitheatre - Tampa, FL (too many former names to list, lol)
Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh, NY
PNC Music Pavilion - Charlotte, NC
PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel, NJ
Ruoff Music Center - Noblesville, IN
Saratoga Performing Arts Center - Saratoga Springs, NY
USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City, Utah
Veterans United Amphitheater - Virginia Beach, VA
Xfinity Center - Mansfield, MA (they really need to go back here)
Xfinity Theatre - Hartford, CT (formerly Dodge Music Center)
Most of those amphitheater’s have seating up front how would that work for GA? Jones beach doesn’t have a GA section that I can recall to actually remove seats?
I don't think there necessarily needs to be GA. There was no GA at any of the Fenway shows.
"We will stagger ticket sales to control web traffic, so please pay attention to the corresponding pre-sale dates and times."
Just imagine if TM/Taylor/Everybody had that figured out in 2022/2023.
Things would be VASTLY different.
Either the industry doesn't study its own history, or the game is rigged against fair prices.
Or both.

Almost all of those venues remove their front seats for most shows.

They do have a ga/pit for a lot of shows these days, albeit a small one.
The revelation from FaceMeltor about starting in Minny is interesting. If that's the case I doubt that they would still move east to west. This is the 2006 tour - flip it and start from St. Paul and that could be the bones of it especially if it is a short leg?

Nothing is happening. They just played in September. You should know what that means. No shows for awhile. Ohana is an Ed event. Id be surprised if the full band plays any shows this year. Facts. That said I would love to be wrong.

Don't need to. I started the thread & made the title.
So, since we're speculating, you may be onto something. But no need to bash people on this forum.
There are a few bad apples, but I just ignore them. Everyone else is pretty fair. Don't be like the former.

If Matt does play with Foo Fighters let's hope he gets to play some Pearl Jam shows this Fall, especially in New England. Crossing fingers for a Maine show. And an Atlantic Canada Tour.
I have my Sonic Temple festival tickets for Friday QOTSA and Sunday FF .If Matt Cameron is Drumming for them that would be a special thing to see

Data!
New data!
So, April is definitely out. I was gonna give a May run 'til Tuesday 03/21 for any announcement, but the "Matt drumming for some Foo Fighters shows" rumor has almost completely killed that off. With that in mind, here's two sets of data to determine what's open & available for some potential tour dates.

Short run of a dozen or so shows, mostly Ampitheatres, a handful of arenas, before/after of Eddie & the Earthlings (as opposed to Ed solo), and Ohana to round it all out.
Could be wrong, but would love to be right!

"We will stagger ticket sales to control web traffic, so please pay attention to the corresponding pre-sale dates and times."
Just imagine if TM/Taylor/Everybody had that figured out in 2022/2023.
Things would be VASTLY different.
Or both.

So, since we're speculating, you may be onto something. But no need to bash people on this forum.
There are a few bad apples, but I just ignore them. Everyone else is pretty fair. Don't be like the former.
