Something has changed with the band....

With all due respect, not sure how you cut the number of songs by 30 to 40 percent in the span of four years.

I wonder how many songs per night the original 2020 gigaton tour would have been. Also, the selection of songs has fallen off pretty significantly. It's now play the hits and five songs off the new album. Next tour I bet gigaton is lumped in with the post 2000 albums and gets virtually no representation.

Great set, but I think a lot of us feel like the drop off in song selection, number of songs and length of shows was very drastic and steep.

20 songs? Total?! Even the Earthlings shows were longer. Clearly there is a band member or two that is having a say in the lengths of these shows. I don’t think it’s Eddie.

is it possible they haven't had time to rehearse much these days, so hitting anything outside of the new stuff or greatest hits they just aren't comfortable playing? Maybe easing into it by playing one ore two randoms a concert? Although still waiting on a random. Inside job, Of The Earth, Whipping, Blood, Fatal, Save You, ect...

Agreed.  No one questions a thing if they would have dropped to 25-26 a night

But 20 songs at a non-festival show is a drastic change

I’m previous tours things were just getting started after 20 songs! I was hoping they’d push up to 25-28 songs by the end of the tour but sounds like they’re just sticking at the 2 hour mark and that’s it.

Maybe Ed had the choice of stopping smoking or reducing the set lists down to the minimum to save his voice 😂

Between covid and Matt's comments in Rolling Stone about Taylor feeling overworked, seems like they are focused on quality and rest over quantity and exhaustion.  Wish they could get it into the 24-25 song range but feel more than grateful that they are touring at all.

Something has to be going on within the band. I wish they’d address the elephant in the room. 20 songs? Very weird.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to say it, and man this is it.  The history of the band says we will never know and yes, I know we don’t deserve to, but man there is something going on

    This was my 64 show..
When I go. To the show and on the end to say my opinion I put all in the mix.
The Setlist looks great.. Had great flow
Imo the show was just OK.
Cos in details u find the perfection.
Crowd wasn't good.. Was average at its best
The sound was bad. Only Jeff saved him self cos was really good the sound of his bass.
At the first 10-12 song there was a huge problem with delay. Eddie got into the songs either late or early. Seems the 5G signal. Fucked them over. If they use that. Then Matt got the problem every time  and try to delay the song so all catch up. Then Eddie Microphone didn't put his  voice out.. Was empty moments.
Only hardcore fans new the new songs. All went for beer during seven o'clock.
During crazy Mary u couldn't here shit from boom and Mike.. Seems the crue worked their asses to fix it and last part saved.
I know. That if u have fun who cares about all this.. But I  Iearn after all those years to pay attention to the band. And what's going on.. I like to observe all.
Berlin was 5 times better show  in everything

Easily the weakest Pearl Jam show I’ve ever been to. That was not good.

The paper setlist was just posted on twitter. 5 songs scratched from the set and black added in suggests something wasn’t going to plan this evening.

A huge part of PJ's draw as a live band is that they played different sets every night, can draw from a huge catalogue of songs, and often play 2.5-3 hrs. It's the reason lots of us go to multiple gigs on the one tour, and fans spend thousands following them around. If the setlist had dropped by 3-4 songs to the mid twenties that's one thing, but dropping from 28-30 songs a night to just 20 is quite a difference. I agree that some thing must be going on.

Is that G. Blood as in Give Blood the PT cover from the Earthlings tour??

I'm sorry this one is just abysmal same exact set as all the other shows just a new order to the songs plus in hiding. I dont know. Maybe they are just another band now.
