What I will not miss is the 3 slow songs in the first encore from the 2016 tour and I think 2013. And I will not miss the metal bird either :)

  • The shorter sets are a little disappointing, but they have still been pretty darn good sets and this one is up there.

These European shows have been even shorter than the U.S. ones. COVID recovery, curfews? The 23 or 24 songs during the first leg were actually fine with me. Getting down to 20 kind of stinks. I still think they've been good sets, though.

Much better setlist today but 7 songs off of Ten?  I don't mean to always complain but fuck they ignore a lot of their music.

Brings up another question, did they maybe not have much time to prep? Thus the shorter sets and a lot of Ten? The variety that does exist is fairly similar too.

I understand that there was COVID and what not.... but how did we get from the setlist below to 20 songs in Zurich in just a few years??

Also, Add Spin The Black Circle to the list of suddenly forgotten songs

Excellent sound and they were on really strong form tonight (Release and Jeremy sounded great). Sounded better than Berlin. Feeling the set lists are starting to lack variety though. There’s only so many times I need to hear Porch, DTE etc. Not too fussed about the shorter set lists but would be nice to see 2-3 rarities on each show

Something has to be going on within the band. I wish they’d address the elephant in the room. 20 songs? Very weird.

I’m old. 2 hours is plenty. Give me this minus 7 o’clock and add anything from avocado for the St. Louis show and I’m happy.

Something has changed with the band....

With all due respect, not sure how you cut the number of songs by 30 to 40 percent in the span of four years.

I wonder how many songs per night the original 2020 gigaton tour would have been. Also, the selection of songs has fallen off pretty significantly. It's now play the hits and five songs off the new album. Next tour I bet gigaton is lumped in with the post 2000 albums and gets virtually no representation.

Great set, but I think a lot of us feel like the drop off in song selection, number of songs and length of shows was very drastic and steep.

20 songs? Total?! Even the Earthlings shows were longer. Clearly there is a band member or two that is having a say in the lengths of these shows. I don’t think it’s Eddie.

is it possible they haven't had time to rehearse much these days, so hitting anything outside of the new stuff or greatest hits they just aren't comfortable playing? Maybe easing into it by playing one ore two randoms a concert? Although still waiting on a random. Inside job, Of The Earth, Whipping, Blood, Fatal, Save You, ect...

Agreed.  No one questions a thing if they would have dropped to 25-26 a night

But 20 songs at a non-festival show is a drastic change

I’m previous tours things were just getting started after 20 songs! I was hoping they’d push up to 25-28 songs by the end of the tour but sounds like they’re just sticking at the 2 hour mark and that’s it.

Maybe Ed had the choice of stopping smoking or reducing the set lists down to the minimum to save his voice 😂

Between covid and Matt's comments in Rolling Stone about Taylor feeling overworked, seems like they are focused on quality and rest over quantity and exhaustion.  Wish they could get it into the 24-25 song range but feel more than grateful that they are touring at all.
