  • Don't worry, they'll play at least two in NYC on the way from Boston ;)

Northerly obv reference to Northerly Island in Chicago.  But WI, MI, MN would be cool too!
    Or Canada :)

If this is a lead up to album release like they did for Lightning Bolt... do some late spring /  early summer shows to road test things, then do tv shows, etc to promote in amongst tour dates.

Based on 2013, social media "teases" and rumours.. maybe some of these:
    Toronto or London?
    Chicago
    NY
    Boston

    Denver
    Dallas

I saw Ed at Progressive Field once. It was on a beautiful evening in November during the fall of 2016.

At this point I'll take what I can get so zero complaints if it's Fenway BUT it's been 7 years since I've seen them indoors so that would be nice

Really wish Boston gets an indoor show too.

I will go if it happens but I have done Fenway 4 times and the charm has definitely worn off a bit. I could say that for all ballpark shows

This is getting good. Are we thinking announcement sometime this month?

New England hasn't had an indoor show in almost 10 years. We had 4 outdoor shows since, so I'm not exactly complaining, but yeah... I really want an arena show again.

I'll take whatever I can get, but like PJ44, it's been 7 years since I saw them indoors too. If you told me that Philly '16 would be the last time I saw them indoors for 7+ years I never would have believed you.

You people are really stretching for anything at this point. People gave crap to Go Animal for having speculation on a festival that gave clues that it might be PJ in their announcement, but are giving credence to a new poster with under 10 posts, and only a member of the site for a year?

They will announce Ohana first as a full band. Have everyone buy tickets and pay for crazy accommodations then they will announce Fenway, Huntington (Northerly) etc..

Labor Day weekend at Fenway won't be cheap either. Then two nights of 15k each night at Huntington will be a super tough ticket.

If it is Fenway hopefully that means shows that are treated like a special occasion. Pluralone opening for a 2022 set would be a bit underwhelming in that setting. I'll still rock out, but it wouldn't compare to what has come before.

The massive thunderstorm that hit before the show.  We had no clue if the show was going to happen. For me, there are just Too many variables with outdoor stadium shows.

Yeah, Chicago has had it hard with Pearl Jam and weather over the years.

It will definitely be better at a venue that was built for concerts and not a venue built for baseball in 1900. Probably 15k on the field alone they were looking out for. I will definitely be traveling for Northerly and already booked hotels!

Counterpoint:  the 8/20/18 Chicago show (thunderstorm delay) was among the best setlists I’ve ever experienced.

Ya so what?!  I did preface stating that “if” he’s legit.  I also called attention to his lack of history posting. Saying Boston and Chicago with shows in between is not exactly a stretch with this band.

With that said I’ll take anything at this point!
