That's useful info, thank you.shep said:
In markets with busy venues, Friday / Saturday / Sunday are actually more expensive to book.estarr31 said:these guys really want their wknds free huh?
With the demand PJ has, paying additional booking fees for the premium dates is unnecessary.
Venues would actually rather have them on a weeknight. Sold out venue on a weeknight isn't happening for small(er) markets on the interpol/SP tour.Mansfield 6/30/08 - Wrigley Field 7/14/13 - Worcester I 10/15/13 - Global Citizen 9/26/15 - MSG II 5/2/16 - Fenway I 8/5/16 - Fenway II 8/7/16 - Fenway II 9/4/18 - LA I 5/6/22 - LA II 5/7/22 - MSG 9/11/22 - Nashville 9/16/22 - St. Paul I and II 8/31/23-9/2/23 - Napa 5/25/24 - MSG I 9/3/24 - MSG II 9/4/24 - Hollywood FL I 4/24/25 - Hollywood FL II 4/26/250 -

That Friday night Dallas/Ft Worth show is going to be a TOUGH ticket.0

Luis on top of cossettas in St. Paul is the real Italian place.
St. Paul is on the quieter end of metro cities. Many museums and a slower pace. I have lived in both MPLS and St. Paul. MPLS is hipper, very very very liberal and more expensive than St. Paul imo.I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

you're=you are
your=showing ownership
The truth has a well known liberal bias.

Valid Point. Hangin my speculation on Tsurt's now-deleted dice post, as well as the fact that it is a logical pit stop in between Austin and Dana Point. Not banking on it, but holding out hope.NewfieintheUSA said:

For anyone thinking MiA...that ship has probably sailed. The lineups the last few years have been GARBAGE...a bunch of music for Gen Z'ers. As someone who lives down the street from the philly art museum, it's just young kids there anymore. MIA doesn't have rock acts and only caters to the young crowd now.0

The area around Xcel Center in St. Paul has changed a lot since the '14 show.. Some of my fav bar/restaurants have changed over to chains, a few new young/hip places have gone up with new condos and hotels. Plenty of bars to hop, and if you're from out of town that's all that matters day of anyway. As for things to do around town, you'll need to drive around but that all depends on what you're looking to do!setlist41 said:How's the area around the venue in st Paul?0 -
Dallas has a big Jewish population. I grew up with a lot of Jewish friends and wouldn’t be into phish or Pearl Jam without Jewish summer camp and high school youth group.vedpunk said:
