  • Good afternoon PJ faithful.  Like others that have been not able to get tickets from 10C looking for 2 tickets for msg. Keep on rocking in a free world.

It's a stretch, but I live 2 blocks from Danny Clinch's gallery in Asbury Park.

I'm tempted to walk over and see if he's around so he can tell EV.

There is no way Ed would be ok knowing there were empty seats at the show last night that people paid for and could not sell when they should have been able to in 5 seconds to another fan.

  • When I go to my tickets on the app and click on manage my tickets for Nashville it still says this message so maybe it’s a glitch but doesn’t seem likely
  • Do people still work at box offices? I'm about to just drive over to Camden and ask wtf is going on

    Empty seats means...
    Fans not paying for parking
    Fans not paying for food
    Fans not paying for drinks
    Fans not paying for merchandise

    Doesn't make much sense

Eddie doesn’t care.  There was an interview in March where he said something along the lines of “yeah I think we’re playing some shows” like he didn’t even know the basic workings of the bands plans

But that's actually the way its been for years. The only difference is we were told in advance we would be able to resell them at face value. Which, granted, is a huge different from prior years. But for almost as long as I can remember, we had almost no way of selling them before. So they're definitely okay with empty seats over giving them to scalpers.

This is another example of fans looking for answers from the 10c and not getting any. It is behind the scenes operations. I am guessing that F2F was somehow used to scalp tickets so they shut it down.

Also, if you read the fine print on your tickets, they are revocable licenses. TM is granting you a license to attend the event, under their terms and conditions, and can revoke those licenses at any time for basically any reason. There is likely no cause of action for not being allowed to resell.  Need one MSG  =)

They figure there is big money to be made in Camden and Nashville and don't want fan to fan competing with the PJ Premium. Otherwise, if this is intentional, it makes no sense.
I honestly think the well has run damn near close to dry on PJ Premium for Nashville. Anytime St Louis gets low, they dump a bunch more out there. But they've let Nashville sit at sold out for quite some time. Aside from some premium f2f resales, there really hasn't been any actual premium in awhile.

Same with MSG, no $3,500 tickets listed.

Please make sure to video yourself doing this and make sure you get the look on everyone’s face in the gallery when you explain the situation.

    Kewl.

Tomorrow is PorchFest in Asbury, which is probably the #1 day I've been looking forward to all summer.

This thing looks dope as fuck.

    Cannot wait.

I work in IT and am going to go with "system update gone awry". And now they either can't roll it back, or don't want to and are trying to fix it. I am pretty certain this is not a promoter or PJ request. If anyone did it on purpose, it is TM.
A very cynical person could say that perhaps Ticketmaster is sabotaging the Fan-to-Fan experience since the system's been working pretty well and bypasses the opportunity for additional profit for them through greater-than-face ticket resale. I love the concept, and it absolutely does threaten the scalping industry.

That said, I think this is likely just a code conflict between Standard tickets and Premium tickets, based on seeing the same seats curiously swapping back and forth between being Premium and being Standard a number of times.

Since no one else seems to be looking, everyone with MSG tix that can't find anyone to buy them... I can take at least one off your hands =)

Well, ok, maybe a few people were shut out since 2019 like me and are looking, but yeah, if you've been sitting on 1 MSG ticket and still can't decide what to do with it, I'm happy to review your options with you as I give you money and you give me your ticket  ;)

    Please?
