Damn the waiting til Monday is the hardest part. Then it will be the six month wait til the show.

any decent full shows from Camden on the Google tv? Found a couple from the aughts that are very dark, a little tough to see the band, let alone the venue. Probably representative of that era films, but is the place that dark?

Probably the footage. I mean they haven't played there in 14 years, but he RITFW show (7/3/05) I know is pretty grainy (only show at Camden I with I was on the lawn for, to see the fireworks going off over the river while this song was playing in the middle of the set). I don't think it's dark. But I don't personally like the lawn unless I'm looking at the city and the bridge. If you're a bit too high up on the lawn you don't see shit and all you have is the screens. The seats, on the other hand, I think are great - all good sightlines, sounds goods, etc.

Is staying in Cherry Hill an decent option to avoid the brunt of the traffic? It looks like there are local roads leading there from the waterfront where 676 can be avoided?
Yes. Cherry Hill is nice, safe and not too far from the venue. You can probably find something on Rt 73 or Rt 70 and that’s pretty much a straight shot to the venue
Parking at Rt 73/Pennsauken Riverline is a great option, light rail takes you to/from the venue for $1.60 each way

Agreed. The very back of the pavilion still sounds good, and, weirdly, the walkway between the pavilion and the lawn even better.

Does anyone know if the River Line runs late during shows at Camden? Looking at the current schedule the last train to Trenton is 9pm. With all the talk on how bad the traffic is after the shows I thought maybe parking at Trenton, and taking the rail there and back would be a good alternative.

I wouldn’t recommend parking in Trenton. It’s not a safe area to wander around at night plus I don’t think the river line runs at night.
I agree. You do not want to wander around Trenton late at night.
I actually work in Trenton and have had the unfortunate experience of walking around at night many a time. Fortunately I have not had any incidents, but I don’t recommend it. It’s basically a 9-5 city so it turns into a ghost town at night.
I agree 100%. Office is right by the train station on E State Street & S Clinton. That.area is "interesting" with the light on.

As weird as that sounds, yes, I concur.

Yup. There have been many times when we were walking out, or just getting a drink and I was thinking, wow the sound is amazing here!

Yes, I'd say leaning on the rail right there on the lawn where it borders that walkway is a solid spot.

I hear about 10:30pm weeknight curfew in Camden… ppl who have been there recently (loose term due to Covid etc):

1- do the bands just ignore it?
    2- it’s not enforced
3- is there an exception to Waterfront Pavillion
    4- other

    what do the experts say?
I’ve been there a bunch but not in years. No 1030 curfew in the past.
Regarding curfew...I went out for long run on a gorgeous morning in Denver today and listened to the Camden show from 5-19-2008.  After playing "All Night" on the fifth song, Eddie makes a comment about there not being a curfew in Camden so they could play all night.  What a great show - highlights for me were LIght Years (dedicated to Tim Russert), Love Reign O'er Me and Leash.    I think it was one of the Philly shows (2009 Spectrum??) where Eddie made a comment on what I think is one of my favorite all-times concert signs - "Play Leash You Pu$$ies".

It used be all music had to be done by 11pm Sunday-Thursday. Than Friday, Saturday music could go until midnight. Atleast this what the rule was when my buddy worked there on summer break when he was home from school about  7-8 years ago

That Tim Russert dedication brought me to tears that night.

Where's the closest place to stay in Philly if you're going to use the ferry or take an Uber to the venue?
I can't believe all the people recommending hotels in Cherry Hill or Mt. Laurel -- there is nothing to do in either area. Instead, stay at the Hilton Penn's Landing or anywhere in Old City Philadelphia, grab some craft beers at Spruce St. Harbor Park while lounging in a hammock overlooking the Delaware River, and then take the ferry to the show with >100 other fans.

    Different strokes y’all.

Some may want to jam only at the show, not jam like sardines on the ferry afterwards. Personally as long as I can rock out, maybe say hi to fans pre show in the lots, share some yield, make a quick escape next day on the long road back to the big island, all is good

I agree 100%, but also understand that it might be a bit too pricey for some people. We live about an hour away, but have stayed at that Hilton (used to be a Hyatt, I think) a bunch of times when we were seeing shows in Philly and/or Camden. Location is especially great if you're taking the ferry to a show across the river.
