Nikki is an amazing songwriter, whether you like those songs or not.

Don’t get me wrong, I banged my head to kickstart my heart and a few others, but Pearl Jam fucking rocks hard as shit, but what Stevie Nixx and his crew aren’t interested in beauty.

Pearl Jam fills us with everything that is wonderful about music

I love her.  So much talent.  The songs she wrote at like 25 years old are astounding.  I was a dipshit at that age, and she was writing things like Landslide  I can't relate at all.

Although in fairness, she didn't come up with "Unskinny Bop".  So she didn't have the "genius" market cornered.
She is very talented and I love her solo and FM music, but I had the misfortune of seeing her play live in the late 80's when she was not at her best due to a few things. I have seen videos of performances by her after that, where she was much better.

I'm pretty sure he's laughing at all of this, judging by his Earthling live banter.

Pretty sure he doesn't even think about it.
    Same with Nikki Sixx.
Same with 99,9% of general rockfans and Mötley Crüe-fans. The number for Pearl jam fans is 99,7%

well, he obviously does, since he mentioned Chad's non-swinging drum kit at one of their shows.

Yeah. Like, 47 min after Nikki Sixx tweeted about it. So sure, maybe he thought about it for 23-24 min in total.

But obviously that was funny, a guy faking drinking wine on stage making fun of someone offering non-fake spectacle to a spectacle kind of rock show.

SIxx has obviously never been to a Pearl Jam show.  If he had, I doubt he would make such a stupid comment.

Ed is right.  MC had something unique when they first came out. But that video and that song are not good. But I can also see Nikki's side, as that is also true.  Ed has been doing the same thing since the beginning.  Focusing on writing quality songs and providing killer live performances. I could see how that may be perceived as boring by an entertainer putting on a flashy show. Celeb drama. Take it to TMZ!
  • Anyone in SF right now seeing Motley Crue doing it live? Wed.Sept 7, '22 ?

( While I Love Pearl Jam Live-
It aappears like people are enjoying MC
          at the moment )
  • Whoa people really care about this back&forth unimportant crap between these two bands! It’s really something to read. I’m glad I’ve stepped far away!

Really? Top 3 worst concerts I’ve ever seen was MC in Calgary 4-5 years ago I think? Vince Neil was cringey stop best and worse than a night at a karaoke bar at worst. I wouldn’t go if offered a free ticket

A friend of mine hit the show last night. He said it was good.
  •  This was a makeup concert date for a +1 , from the pandemic.
Personally- i thought Vince sounded like he was singing from inhaling helium balloons at times- but i wasn't in a good position for the sound at that ball park.  I thought the sound was painfully distorted.
I was very thankful I had gotten to see Pearl Jam Live post-pandemic prior to this-
