If anyone hasn't watched the HBO Kenny G documentary, I highly recommend it. One of my favorite things is that they interview all of these white music critics and hipsters who are apoplectic about Kenny G's supposed appropriation of black music (i.e., jazz), and then they go to Kenny G shows and talk to his fans, many of whom are black and express no such concerns as they pour out their adoration for the guy.
The snippet making the rounds is actually another band. It's not PJ.

Juggles posted on one my old spec threads that PJ was gonna play Citizen's Bank Park in Philly a while back.
He sold it really hard, wasn't joking. Acted the part of an insider every time someone pressed him.
By the time it was apparent there was no way PJ was playing there, he was in a separate thread about Philly, laughing & bragging about how he fooled us.
There were screenshots & timestamps. Sea got involved. It was kinda low, tbh.
A couple of us had booked refundable hotels (as we all should, re: rumor threads), so no one got left holding a bill.
But there was no real apology either. Just some empty platitudes.

Thanks for the clarification BF. The response "Wednesday" would easily be percieved to indicate a date, when it seems to instead refer to a show title. The result is a very different meaning.
