Some of y'all shit on the Holy Grail thing.  No one forced anyone to do it.  I liked the idea because the names of the people I recognize, or have actually met, were doing good in some form on here.

I've never been chosen for one but have been a recipient of 2 behind the scenes things that I was never expecting..  Stuff like that still goes on and I love it when the community gets together.
Exactly. I received a '98 Kansas City poster years ago because of the generosity of many people here. I wasn't expecting it at all & it meant  a lot that people chipped in to get it for me. I enjoy contributing to the grails as well and would contribute long before I ever received one.

You hit the nail on the head---it's about community. It's not a damn ponzi scheme. Is it possible for people to simply do something nice for others without being judged for it?
the committee should revoke belinda27s merriweather and give it to tempo.
    What committee? LOL
    something to consider.

Regardless of how someone feels about the Grail process, it’s a voluntary participation exercise.  I get some people feel like it has a whiff of clique-ish-ness to it, but I like the positivity it seems to promote. I think any good deed has the potential to be corrupted, but for the most part those grail threads seem to acknowledge nice people and there’s nothing wrong with people voluntarily contributing. And there’s nothing wrong with people skipping a donation too if they choose.

    💯

I watched from the sidelines and enjoyed seeing someone emotional and surprised by their holy grail landing. Speaking as someone who honestly  has been fortunate enough to be at the right place at the right time more often than is respectable I didn’t have a holy grail but having said that the people I’ve encountered through the community, Paul for one who has posted, and others who posted here that I’ve communicated with…that’s been priceless.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

No one's saying the grails should be outlawed or anything just commenting on the practice as one does on message boards. Hope the posters who have been beneficiaries are enjoying their trinkets.

Grails are fun to participate to make someone happy, who otherwise might not get their sought after collectible.  Don’t participate in it if you don’t like, but why shit on it if others want to.
Wonder if the seller has covid, is in ICU, or something.  I think that this is the girl that has had medical problems in the past as far as I remember.  I think she’s the one that I sent some money to help with medical bills when she was in bad shape, but Dimi from Greece might know.

I think the OP mentioned that she posted on Facebook several times while ignoring his messages so that might rule out a medical issue.

Tried also, and whilst I do not believe its been ignored as it hasnt been read, I have not been able to get any response.

Hopefully someone can call her - I would but I do not have the number

Sounds like several of you are friends with her of FB. I found her, was pretty easy, she’s friends with some of my friends so she was the first to pop up under suggestions with her name. And she hasn’t posted since 11/26.
But those who are FB friends could maybe message someone who also lives in AUS and personally knows her?
