by the way, 'dime a dozen' or not, i was at a resort here in phoenix this past weekend with my son for father's day. so i'm at the pool, shirt off and he and i get in the hot tub and this kid says 'is that the pearl jam stickman on your back' and i said yes and he says 'my cousin is the singer'. i asked him his name and when he told me, i laughed because i had met him a few years ago when he was with his dad (ed's uncle), something he remembered when i jogged his memory. that meeting with his uncle got me to a situation where i was able to meet ed, truly the highlight of my pearl jam existence.
my point is that the stickman tattoo is what the kid recognized, something that's happened to me plenty of times and it's led to my making new friends, meeting other fans, etc... oh, and by the way, when i did meet ed??? i showed him my 'dime a dozen' stickman tattoo... he put his hand on his heart and then opened his arms wide and hugged me. as one of my personal musical heroes, that did not suck. and again, it was that generic ol' stickman that triggered the reaction in ed.

Actually having it done tonight now - normally you have to book the place I use way in advance, so went in last night to book for Saturday morning and they said they could do it tonight instead.
Having the Stickman on my leg this Saturday. Would really like to have got it on my arm but I'm a skinny so and so, so it will have to be the leg.
Looked at loads of designs and kept coming back to that. Though if I could find a hi-res image of the winged logo at the top of the forum then I may be tempted with that.

actually, that is the same design I've been thinking about for MY first PJ tattoo. I was just planning on taking my shirt into the tattoo place for them to copy the design...

i have a 6 inch stickman on the upper right side of my back. i've had it for a while now and still love it. it's a good location. i'd go with the arm over the leg, but then again i don't know what your body is like or how 'skinny' you actually are. i think a tat on a skinny arm would be a bit better than a tat on a skinny leg (unless your arms are really like sticks), especially with the way the stickman tends to sprawl out on those parts of the body, unless you plan on getting a really small one.
