    Haha I know I don't want to let it lapse! I have alarms set on my phone, and I have an email service that sends me an email once a day for like 2 weeks prior to the expiration. I am taking no chances!!!

    I really want to get the "surf board" tattoo. I have seen all the ones people have posted here, and they all look good, but I want mine to be more subtle. What I mean is, the first time I saw the "surf board" picture on the Xmas single, I had no idea it said "Pearl Jam" inside the surf board. I just thought it looked like a cool design.

    Thats what I want in my tattoo. I dont want people to immediately see that it says Pearl Jam. I dont know how to go about designing the tattoo so that it looks like the first time I saw it.

    i totally hear what you're saying but, FWIW, 99% of people can't even read "pearl jam" in mine! :lol::lol:

    i'm not an expert but id say if it's still kinda raw and red i'd wait. not sure what kind of scar you are talking about but i'd definitely wait until it is fully healed before i messed around with it. i know from my 2 scars that as time went on the one on my arm faded and smoothed out and also got significantly smaller and the other on my knee is barely noticeable but again only time will tell...

    Had a cyst removed from the top of my back. So going to give it a while. To be completely honest using the scar as an excuse to get the tattoo (my hubby is dead against me having one - so this is my way round him). Might ring the tattoo shop in the nearest city (not one where I live) and sound them out.

    Yeahh my first post... I finally got a credit card and now I can post instead of years of only reading what you guys had to say ;)

    I got my first tattoo last friday. A feather across my shoulders and beneath the words "all five horizons..." from Black...I looove it. At first I wanted the words Given To Fly in Ed's handwriting because it fits to my feather but Black is just so great and one of my favorite songs of all time and so I got the five horizons. Unfortunately not in his handwriting, but I added the "-.." from the Given To Fly scan to it.
