I am sure that being there it looks different but we are used to longer sets, and I know it is a festival but you also know that this is a different one.

What an absolutely perfect night again at Ohana. The band was unreal and it was so sick to see debut of Whoever Said (which was insane.). Obviously I wished it was longer but maybe this is the new PJ?  But Goddamn they sounded amazing!!! Garden! RVM! What a night!!

  • DotC and Who Ever Said felt like the highlights. Ed sang his ass off on WES. Great vibe when you start out like that. Great weather and very chill crowd, Ed mentioned it was nice to see all the kids up front (also it might have freaked him out). Hopefully a "no repeats" wkd considering no Quick Escape / Superblood Wolfmoon. Any show with DTE, State Of Love And Trust and RVM in the main set is an awesome show for me.

Such an incredible night. Awesome set, great energy, perfect vibe, and a beautiful Southern California day. I'll reiterate what I said after Sunday's show: Dance of the Clairvoyants is fucking kickass live and should be a setlist staple for years to come. I'm wiped out so no time for a long review, but here is the video I shot of Who Ever Said for those curious about how it goes over live (spoiler alert: it rocks!).

  • Been to all 3 shows so far and this was better than the others for me. It wasn't so much the setlist (though this one was interesting), but the way the band seemed so comfortable to be on stage with each other.

So wait. Was the curfew earlier this weekend or did the band decide to just be done at that time?
  • I know it’s still early on the West Coast, but we need some more fanviews here!

Was River Cross completely Ed solo? Pump organ?

  • River Cross was full band, including Boom. Ed was at the organ with back facing the fans. It was very nicely done. The new songs are just phenomenal live, all of them. Who Ever Said -- they tore that one up.

  • This was my 26th show. Was great to finally be out and listening to live music. Show was great. RVM was on fire, so much energy.  New songs sounded great. 7 o’clock sounded really great live. Eddie was fantastic on who ever said. River cross was just so soulful. It has such a Peter Gabriel vibe to it. Wish they would have a camera focus on Eddie while he was playing the organ, he was playing with his back against the crowd. Looking forward to tonight.

Who Ever Said was awesome. And I know not many people are in to Buckle Up, but it sounded great live. RVM and Garden dominated. SOLAT was great even though Ed messed up and forgot to start singing again in the middle. Of course Mike lit the place up all night. A lot of songs for him to go wild on.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Amazing night! Who Ever Said, Never Destination, Garden and Rearviewmirror were the highlights for me. So much craziness was going in with RVM at the end and was easily the song of the night. I can’t wait to hear it again in the boot. 1 more show tonight! Fantastic festival experience so far and can’t wait to do it all again!

They walked on stage and the biggest smile came over my face. It hasn’t been ear-to-ear in almost two years. It’s been too long since we’ve been back in our happy place. Sweet Lew made me giggle. I’ll be back tonight, wearing a big smile and Mookie Blaylock shirt.
