First show since Home Show 2 and it was so great to be able to listen to live music again. The band sounds great and the new music is all I could hope for. When Eddie talked after Low Light about how the first couple shows were kind of an experiment to see if they could do live shows again, thought it would be a different night than the past two shows.
Before Buckle Up he talked about how it was Stone's Anniversary, how Mike just had one as well and that it was a rare occasion that all the wives were at the show tonight.
Highlight for me was seeing how much joy they were having on the stage. While none of us wanted the break we were all forced to take, it has sparked something and they are so amped up to play.
Can't wait to see what they have for us tonight. It is going to be special no matter what, but show 75 for me.
7 o'clock is a very special song. To me the live performance takes it to a new level.
I disliked it when I listened to it for the first time on the album. Then it slowly grew on me. Then hearing it live at SHN launched it into great PJ song territory for me.
Show 18 for me and Pearl Jam exceeded expectations. The beach has a hard 10 pm curfew, but they made the most of their two hours. I enjoyed the entire day. Seeing Jeff join Josh for Pluralone, taking in the earlier bands, loved a Nirvana cover someone did, Beck bringing his magic, 6 Gigaton tracks with 3 debuts, Sweet Lew as a deep cut, and finally heard the PJ version of All Along the Watchtower. BUT, the highlight for me so far is all the cool people here. I flew in solo and haven’t met a stranger here yet. PJ fans are the best! So excited for today!
The low end Jeff added was bone rattling awesomeness!
The Buckle Up haters can suck it! It sounded amazing last night, especially Ed’s vocal delivery.

Excellent festival set. Nice flow through the main set. Low Light is always a highlight, love the way it builds to its finish. DotC got the crowd going in my area, and the positive vibes stayed.
My first time seeing I Am Mine with full band. I like Buckle Up (and everything else Stone), but the set really took off with the Even Flow thru WES section.
Sweet Lew, that silly bastard of a song, kept the fun going and served as a little break for Eddie before he nailed what are perhaps his two best songs. As noted, RVM was ripping and an explosive finish to main set. RVM and WES battle for song of the night. River Cross, placed in the right spot, sounded good with the full band. Was Jeff playing upright bass? I think so, and like what he adds to that song. I was hoping they’d work Deep in, as that’s the lone song from Ten I have yet to see, but hard to complain about Garden, Why Go, Alive. Mike’s solo in Garden is one of my favorites. Watchtower and YL ended the night in classic fashion. I’m ready for more.
Anyone else hear Ed tease Release before Whoever Said??
Yes...though my friends and I also thought we heard Ed strum the beginning chords to Release just prior to him introducing I Am Mine. We were freaking out a bit with the thought of Release mid-set...but I Am Mine was perfect, particularly after the way he introduced it.

Yes yes, you are absolutely correct! It was definitely before I Am Mine (which agree was amazing) but Release mid-set would have been mind blowing. Maybe tonight!!
Way better set than last week the band was way tighter I know I think there was some Jitters in week 1 the 20 song setlist is a little challenging but last night they got a way better job of mixing in more stuff more heavy stuff all that why go rear view mirror were fantastic I am mine was amazing and epic and wish they would bring out more stuff like that off the new albums low light and elderly woman were a perfect way to start the show I'm a little selfish so I loved better man with just the band this week really just a epic all-around good fun Pearl Jam show!

I let out a “woah really?” when he played the Release riff, and I must have said it louder than I thought, as someone leaned forward from behind me and said “no way, not in the middle.” 😂
Amazing show and great set list. Loved every minute and moment. Stoked to hear and see them sounding great and having a ton of fun. Who would’ve guessed Low Light as an opener tonight and I thought they were going in to Release before doing I am mine. Was certain we were in for a three hour night. Lost my mind a little when they broke in to SOLAT and RVM ROCKED! Absolutely enjoy JT all of the new ones and top highlight for me was Who Ever Said that is sooooo good. I was bracing for encore 2 when they almost started YL and my wife and I looked at each other like it’s not 10:50 yet. Still great and two hours of PJ is pretty much better than any other two hours 😃

What an absolutely perfect night again at Ohana. The band was unreal and it was so sick to see debut of Whoever Said (which was insane.). Obviously I wished it was longer but maybe this is the new PJ? But Goddamn they sounded amazing!!! Garden! RVM! What a night!!
I thought the sky was going to part during RVM and we would all transcend into another phase of existence
We did. We absolutely effing did.
"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."
-my dad after hearing Not for You for the first time on SNL .
highlights were DotC, Whoever Said, 7 o'clock and fuck that RVM was incredible. need a video of that immediately! has anyone seen one? why can't they get the boots out next day!
thought jeff sounded unreal, definitely the MVP of the night.
Bob from Omaha here… And even though the show was amazing, I have to agree all the friendly people were just as cool.. and I wish I could remember all your names, hanging in Merch line with a couple from Wisconsin and the dude there by himself from New York City were great company,.. oh and can’t forget the random 2 guys from Colorado we met after the show and somehow found an Uber that would take cash as we were both staying at the Inn here in Laguna Beach!! What are the odds??
no as for the show… Two minutes before it started I leaned over to my wife and said low light…few fans around me looked at me like I was nuts!! And when they started with it I knew we were in for a special night… highlights from the wifey were I am mine and nothingman… for myself it was WES, 7 o’clock, never destination,.. which I swear reminds me of supersonic from Backspacer as it just has this awesome jamin’ tempo!!! Garden an damn Jeff’s bass on why go…Fn’ thumping!!! and Dont let me not to forget to mention this was the loudest outdoor show I’ve been to in a while…#if it’s too loud you’re too old…
though we hated to miss even flow… I knew it was our only window to hit the Porta johns and make it back and only miss one song…sorry Mike…this move by us worked though..Because now I had some space to go nuts at the back of the crowd and gave it my all for RVM!!! Sorry if I bumped anyone, I was excited… Ps… I was the guy in the blue Chicago Wrigley T with a set list on the back… I’ll have the DeLuna fest shirt on tonight,..stop say hi and I’ll buy you a beer.. at $10-16 a drink pending what your poison is.. I may have to put a cap on how many!! Lol
I thought this would be my most epic show ever (#15) but I have to admit I was baffled when they ended before 10pm. Not sure how they went to 10:30 on a Sunday night and only played until 10:00 on a Friday. Anyways, at least they went on before 8pm instead of 8:30 like Sunday. But I'm hoping for a 10:30 or 11:00 end time tonight...but is that out of the question? Maybe when they set up the Encore that was part of the deal (to end earlier this weekend?). Personally, I think they should take their sweet time with two longer encore breaks tonight and rock it out until 11pm. Anyways, WHAT A SHOW!!! Still EPIC!!!
Highlights of the openers I saw...when White Reaper covered a deep Nirvana track. Shit...mind isn't fully functional...what was the name? Lord Huron was pretty good. And of course Beck had an outstanding set (4th time for me).
Loved the old song opening of Low Light. Was pumped to hear 4 more Gigaton tracks (bring on Comes Then Goes and Take The Long Way!). Sweet Lew was SWEET and hilarious! Thought we were getting Mankind until he mentioned Jeff. Maybe Mankind or Don't Gimme No Lip tonight??? Nice couple of new covers for me. And Garden and Why Go...amazing. But man, what's a guy gotta do to hear Deep for the first time? Maybe tonight. Release will definitely be played tonight...well, I'm 90% sure at least. LET'S DO THIS ONE MORE TIME THEN GET THOSE NEW US TOUR DATES ON THE BOOKS!!!

I’m sure the 10pm curfew was part of the deal with the areas elites to allow the encore to happen at all.
Great set, came in hard last night and killed it. Basketball kicked into the crowd after Sweet Lew, EV and McCready dual guitars behind their heads, RVM!!! and tons of Ten tracks I miss hearing live. DotC also sounded even better than Sunday. River Cross was nice with the full band setup.
Wish I had more to enjoy but I was surrounded by idiot fans who pushed through 15 minutes before they took the stage (including the parents that decided to weasel a rail spot and almost got trampled from McCready’s tossed pick frenzy). Hoping today I got a better crowd, pumped to see more new tracks.
