    Where’s the night 2 poster?
They’ve been teasing the day before, so Friday will unveil Saturday’s print.

Gotta admit, this weekend’s looking pretty hot so far. I’m still low on skull prints hanging on my wall but we’ll see what likely will be an Ames print for Saturday.

Do you plan on getting merch at the outside location, dropping off the goods back at your hotel, and then heading to the festival? Or are you just trying your luck inside once you’re there? For tomorrow I only really care to see Beck and PJ, and on Saturday I only care about Sleater-Kinney and PJ, so I don’t plan to get there too early but also want the two posters. What’s my best strategy as a solo attendee?

You can rent a locker inside the venue to stash stuff. If you happen to score a poster you can also check it in at the locker area and then pick it up after the show.

For anybody that flew there and bought one with the intention of taking it home, I imagine you would have to check it as baggage if you could even fly with it. Nuts.
For someone that spent $350 on a rug I’m sure they’ll have no issues ponying up another $30 for baggage lol
Someone on social media called their airline and it was going to be $200 plus to take on.
Interesting. Why not gate check or oversized baggage since it still goes on the plane? I guess they want to keep a watchful eye but even then, where do you keep it?

Have fun tomorrow everyone! I am so excited live music is back! Be safe, take care of your fellow PJ brother and sister and enjoy the show! Remember if you don’t get merch, it’s only merch you still have your memories of this kick ass time. Enjoy it!

LOL   they could've given us UCLA blue and gold or USC red and gold.
I can't rock the purple and gold.  No sir!

I’m so stoked and honored to have created the @pearljam gig poster for this weekends @theohanafest Encore performance! Pearl Jam has been a formative band for me since my teens* and I have the utmost respect for their longstanding artistic/musical output and environmental stance.
    .
This poster is 18x24” (46x61cm) four colour process screen print with spot gloss varnish layer and single colour printed back. I will have a limited number of signed AP’s to sell on my website soon! Please use the link in my profile to register your interest for the release.
    .
Gigatron is a killer album and has been in high rotation through the creation of this piece. The message of their music both inspires and correlates with my own, you can see my previous posts for the artworks inspirational origins. Huge thanks to the band and @mrtsurt for this opportunity, and, to all those attending the festival, please bring extra Aloha from me and my fellow Melbournians (still in lockdown).
    .
*My first ever stadium gig was Pearl Jam’s first ever Melbourne gig at the ‘Flinders Park Tennis Centre’ March 1995. The one where security famously clashed with the crowd and a friend of mine, who jumped into the chaotic GA section, was thrown out half way through. Fortunately my 16yo self decided not to jump, rocked out the whole gig and sweated my green Pennywise T-shirt to the bone!
The ‘Stickman’ man gig poster I bought from a bootlegger outside (irony 😅) adorned my teenage wall for years to come.

    That’s too much compromise.
