Maybe now that things are chilling regarding Soundgarden's estate, they'll put out the DTS version of Superunknown. Incredible.www.cluthelee.com0

Question for the Atmos mixes of Ten and No Code, can you purchase these versions in iTunes as a non-subscribed Apple Music person? I looked in the music store but didn’t see any high res options…just what looked to be regular album digital files. I have all the tools for Atmos playback, just want the album files which I prefer to buy rather than rent/subscribe. Love Gigaton’s Atmos one.0

I don't have Apple Music, but for this I'm going to take advantage of this free 3 month things and then cancel.
My iPhone doesn't have an input, it just uses bluetooth. I have these Bob Marley bluetooth headphones... but I also have a stereo receiver that does bluetooth as well.
Is the quality still good through bluetooth? If I set up my bluetooth receiver, do you recommend I hook it up to my good surround system?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Would my receiver need to have this 'Dolby Atmos' technology, or is that all through Apple Music? As for a home theater setup, yeah, your receiver needs to be Atmos compatible.

Interesting. I didn't care for the Atmos version of Gigaton, but loved hearing a extra chord that Mike throws in occasionally in the verses of Alive that I couldn't hear on previous versions and I don't think I've heard him use it live either.1993-08-12 - Edmonton, AB, Convention Centre

It is possible (and I hope they do it) that these new mixes would be released on Blu Ray. But then I also wish they would release the Gigaton Visual Album on Blu Ray too.PORTLAND - 18 JUL 98 // TAMPA - 12 AUG 00 // PORTLAND - 02 NOV 00 // SEATTLE - 05 NOV 00 // SEATTLE - 09 DEC 02

iTunes does not display the Atmos logo, but the Music app does. As previously said, both Ten and No Code have this format. You can purchase in the iTunes Store and here are the corresponding screen shots displaying the Atmos format:

Listening to No Code now. I'm definitely hearing things I've never heard before, which is amazing after 25 years. Some things (notes, vocal accents) are left out and/or different too.
Hail Hail sounded awful. Guitars sit WAY too high. There's almost no Jeff. And Jack is ticked down too.
Who You Are was changed to "Just a little time..." instead of "Take me for a ride..." right before the second verses.
First pass, I'm not a fan of the Atmos mix for No Code, tbh. Jeff has all but disappeared.
Unless I'm doing something wrong lol, but I don't think I am. I logged into my brother's Apple Music account. Atmos is enabled on my phone. My regular music files sound fine.

I noticed the beginning of Who You Are's second verse was changed from "Circumstance, clapping hands" to "Avalanche, falling fast" (not sure if that's new to this release but definitely different than the original).I smile, but who am I kidding...0

The beginning of In My Tree is cut off too.
And the begining of Smile as well. This is butchered, or maybe it's time to reboot the phone.Post edited by bone on1993-08-12 - Edmonton, AB, Convention Centre

I noticed a few cut off beginnings. I think those are just file issues Apple needs to correct. Also there are a few bugs with the whole Apple Spatial Audio thing that will supposedly be improved with the next major round of operating systems that come out probably in September. I am sure these glitches will get fixed.PORTLAND - 18 JUL 98 // TAMPA - 12 AUG 00 // PORTLAND - 02 NOV 00 // SEATTLE - 05 NOV 00 // SEATTLE - 09 DEC 02
