It's all unnecessary. Make enough. End of. Its all a stupid game.
They made enough on black vinyl. If this stuff didnt exist, where would all the buzz come from? If it wasnt limited (see- Purple Ten), nobody would care about it.
Black Copies - Unlimited - available at Amazon, etc? However it is actually the 2016 reissue and *not* a fresh 2021 pressing?
Should I feel guilty I am getting two clear copies? I always buy two - one to spin and one to put on the shelf. It let me do it, I did not know there would be so few.
I would be willing to trade for a Benny (assuming I might throw something else in - I do have other 'shelf stuff' or this could be me being sarcastic/funny)
I sold mine a while back and regret that decision. #129. But had to pay the medical bills. Cancer blows.
Finally - why was this pimped as 25th anniversary reissue - given that it is - but is the 2016 version?

I wouldnt feel bad. I usually buy two of each Vault. One to spin and one to keep or trade.
There were definitely that many orders in between when they went live and sold out. Don't underestimate how many members there are and how many units the band can move. It wasn't limited to 1 per person. It was 1 per order. So people could order as many as they wanted to.
I guess. But it sold out in around 25 minutes. I don't underestimate how many members there are. But the Alive vinyl and single have yet to sell out
Seems like a lot to me too. I'm just trusting the order numbers. Once Santos posted on here that there were only 200 left they were sold out in 2 minutes. With Alive people knew ahead of time that there were 18k+ pressed, could also possibly get them at retail stores without paying the crazy shipping rates. So there was less fomo and anyone looking to flip them probably held off.
Also, who really wants to buy a single of a song that they have heard a million times already just because it was packaged differently? I think the purple Ten people learned their lesson there.
I bought one, but it wasn't for Alive, it was for the other songs that were on it.
Love the alt solo on Alive!
This entire 12" might be the best studio release the band has done on vinyl. It sounds so fucking fantastic.

Nope… they allowed multiple orders.

I always feel bad. I get the odd person that snoops on my discogs collection and will contact me about doing trades. The fundamental problem being that I don't have duplicates of anything because I never order 2. Thus I can't trade because then I don't have the thing anymore... lol. Always feel bad when I have to turn that down

I agree about the 12" it sounds great. I still remember buying the Alive EP cassette and the first Christmas single for $22. Yes, both for $22. It is fun to collect fun stuff.

Well I'm still looking for clear version. I get the buying 2, often considered that on the vaults, but when the shipping is more expensive than the vinyl, and exchange rate...arrgghhh. but get the mentality. If anyone with a spare wants a trade, in their favour (ie. Market value etc) let me know. Hope all are doing well
Waiting for mine to ship also. I wonder of this will be like my Vault 10 which was waiting to ship forever and then determined to be "lost" by the carrier.

Mine was supposed to arrive today. Doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.

So discogs has the entry now and it's listed as 3k copies. Someone named D221 made the entry. So if you're "D221", let us know how you know it's 3.
Notes
25th Anniversary re-issue on clear vinyl, limited to 3000 copies, Ten Club only. Other than the different barcode, nothing to distinguish this from the black vinyl 2021 repress. Uses the same packaging as the 2016 reissue.
